Tony, I hope that you are in Heaven with the Almighty God and the Lord Jesus entertaining them with your guitar and your great voice which God gave you on the day you were born on the earth. You inspired so many young and older people to use their God given talents, including myself, to be all we can be with the talents we were given by God the father. I will be eternally grateful to my God for giving us all the priviledge of having someone like you to give us something to strive for. May you rest in peace with our Lord Jesus for eternity. He had a first class voice and to be robbed of that gift must have been extremely hard to take, but at least he could still write and pick out a tune with the very best of them. I guess we just have to be thankful for all the recordings, but damn I would have loved to have seen him live....... RIP Tony.
He doesn't sound too happy about the way Tony handled it. I have heard that Tony refused any and all therapies to rehab his voice. It must have been frustrating for his bandmates.
man. such a shame. ive always felt tonys singing was just as powerful as his playing. perhaps he could have recovered with vocal therapy. alas, we will never know.
