Comedian Tony Rock shared a harrowing experience from his youth involving his oldest brother, Shabazz. Tony recounted a troubling incident from junior high when a confrontation with an older student over a girl led to a gun being pulled on him. Tony sought help from his brother Shabazz, who was notorious for being fiercely protective and had a criminal background. Demonstrating this, Shabazz took Tony back to school armed and ready to confront the aggressor, who fortunately wasn’t there. It is sad to watch this video and reflect on how low income Black Americans treat each other, have treated each other, for at least the past 60 years, and how we continue to treat each other to this very day. A 16 year-old pulling a gun on a 13 year-old (over a girl), is beyond ridiculous. I can clearly understand how poorer Black males (of all ages) must have some form of post traumatic stress. I don't have any "statistics", but I do not think that this level of violence is common behavior among the lower socio-economic classes of other ethnicities in America. Read the news from any major city in America, and these type stories are common. As Tony mentioned, I remember back in the 1980's in NYC when people were getting robbed and deleted for their leather bomber jackets, sheepskin coats, and the cheap, gaudy 10k gold that was popular at the time. Life is wild. On the one hand, a 23 year-old deleting a 16 year old is crazy. On the other hand, being that it's your younger sibling, I 'get' it.

The real crazy thing is when you read these comments, these low IQ viewers actually think the "way syst" bullying was the trauma they faced growing up, and many condemned their mother for sending them to that school. Not enough thoughts between their ears to connect the dots and realize that their mother started sending them to the White school so none of them would end up being like their eldest half-brother Charles (Shabazz). While they got bullied for being different at the White school, they did not turn out to be murderers like Charles, nor did any of them become alcoholics like Charles who died broke and homeless.

You can also see the low IQ of the viewers when you see all the comments calling Vlad a fed and complaining about him interrupting the story he was telling. Interrupting that story is the opposite of what a Fed would do. Tony was seemingly about to detail how he pointed out a 16 year old to his older brother, who most likely proceeded to murder the 16 yo. That story sounded like it was about to implicate Tony in that murder. Asking how many bodies his dead brother caught isn't incriminating since the killer has been dead since 06'.

His older brother Charles was an alcoholic and died of pneumonia while living in a homeless shelter. He was their half brother who was not fortunate enough to have gone to the racist Whites school Tony went to. Their family is a perfect example of how small the impact of racism is. Every one of the siblings who attended the racist school was successfully raised to live respectable lives as decent ppl. The first born, who missed that opportunity, literally became a murderer and an addict and was homeless when he died. Vlad should have asked him if his brother's victims were Black.

smh. the racism was not small. first of all, racism is the whole reason why their neighborhood was so dangerous and ended up influencing the brother. aside from that, just because chris and tony have money doesnt mean they dont have deep seated issues from their youth. chris is literally always talking about race in his standups, and a lot of stuff that he's said leads me to believe that the way white people view him is important to him. and he delt with physical abuse at those racist schools. the exepriences he had have had a lasting effect of him, regardless of him being rich.
