After a personal loss, Tony battled addictions, lost his job and home, and ended up sleeping on the street. The Salvation Army were able to help Tony off the streets, and into Bramwell House.
Bramwell House is an accommodation unit for 55 single homeless people. The aim of Bramwell House is to enable people to make positive life changes and ultimately empower them to lead more sustainable lifestyles.
The Salvation Army operates over 80 supported accommodation services like Bramwell House across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. We call these services ‘Lifehouses’ because they are more than a place to stay. They are places where people can get support with their housing issues - but also find support with other aspects of their lives such as employment, debt problems, training, spirituality, loneliness, addiction or mental health.
