"You shoot me down" As Tony hits the wall XD Also, the Stony in this is beautiful. Plus 'stone hard' with the scepter :D All in all, ten out of ten. Beautiful.
Starks are made of Iron. But what if the Iron is actually titanium alloy? What if this Stark doesn't make weapons? What if this Iron is condemned so much it might as well be tin? Iron rusts in the rain. What if it never stops raining? Well then. You may as well not get up again. But what if you are bulletproof as well? What if you get up. Every. Time. Well then, you must be Tony Stark ; )
Excellent video set to an excellent cover! I love how you tried to match the visuals to the beat; it's my personal preference back when I used to make videos, though I know it's difficult when limited footage is available. I thought it could've benefitted from some Pepper and Rhodey as well since they know where and how to hurt Tony, but as I am leaning towards Stony I definitely have no complaints. ;D
Ow watching this hurts...partly because nostalgia but mostly because FUCKING NOSTALGIA. I just miss when Tony Stark was still my favorite marvel character...and I mean he still is, but only from Ironman to The Avengers. I hate how the writers and fans have butchered him now.
In a lot of ways, they aren't really butchering his character. He was always kind of butchered. If you read the backstory for him, outside of the movies, the reason for his creation of the arc reactor and the suit are the same; a combination of really bad business decisions and poor lifestyles choices put his life in critical jeopardy. Age of Ultron does a good job showing how Stark is a genius, and can often fix his mistakes if he's stubborn enough to stick it out. The problem is, when he makes a mistake it's as huge as his successes, and often impacts as many people. The Civil War movies do a great job demonstrating more of his struggle with substance abuse, and family issues. Keep in mind, the "Teenage Prodigy," "Genius Heir" image of Stark was only the public view until his twenties. Life got to him, and he spent many years partying and being self-destructive. I think the hard thing for fans is they now see Tony Stark "The Flawed Human," as well as "The Invincible Iron Man," and it's a hard pill to swallow.
I disagree--from the very first Ironman movie, Tony Stark was shown to be a flawed character and I /liked/ the fact that he was a flawed human being. I appreciated the little tilts and nods toward his substance abuse, even if it was never fully addressed in the mcu the way it was in the comics, as well as the fact that he's always had a lot of pressure because of his fame, and his father's neglectfulness (although, again, in the mcu it wasn't as direct because Howard was shown as more of a cold, distant father rather than the abusive one, as depicted in the comics). In that movie, the writers were able to point out that he'd had a troubled past and was therefore nowhere close to being a perfect human being, while being subtle enough that it didn't feel depressing, and making sure there was still room for redemption and recovery. But now it just seems to me like the *MCU writers just keep adding on tragedy after tragedy (Having PTSD, Pepper seemingly leaving him [she wasn't there at all in AOU or Civil War and when he mentioned her in AOU, he looked and sounded sad], then there's the little issue of one of his /best/ friends, Rhodey, becoming paralyzed, his other friends turning against him, Cap lying to him about the truth surrounding his parents' deaths, yada yada yada!) that I've started to go "okay, enough already!" Nothing good ever seems to happen to him anymore, and I hate seeing a character I love get tortured that way.
+Claire Gorsch indeed it good see his old days if. iron man dies in next avengers i hope they make his death. i good one not just him fight and get shot mean like a i meanfull death
