I was listening to SiriusXM yesterday (the Groove) & this came on, I almost crashed my car turning it up!!! This was the jam, still sounds good too!!!!!!!!
I. Can still hear this song bouncing around in my head driving to work when I was 19 years old on cassette deck in my 1987 Ford Escort GT. 😂😂😂🔥🔥❤️❤️🕶️😎
Seen him do this live in some small venue in the uk when it first came out . He had stage presence and was dynamic energy wise . He doesn't dance like MJ or Bobby brown did he had that Alfa appeal and was so sharp vocally and performance wise . This was the first swing type beat that everyone later kinda copied . What a killer tune with a killer vocalist at the helm . 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This FACT still stands. I saw him live at the BET Honors in 2019. He did a tribute to Freddie Jackson. Not only was his vocal and stage presence on point, he went about it in a very masculine way in contrast with to the other male vocalists.
I agree. I used to jam to this all the time on Video Soul when BET was still worth listening to and looking at. Very talented singer and so down to earth. I was wondering what happened to him.
YES! YES! GREAT OLD SCHOOL JAM.. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! GREAT STYLE, LOOKS AND VOCALS MR. TERRY.. TEENAGE CRUSH BACK IN THE DAY.. YOU STILL LOOKING GREAT MR. TERRY. 💖💖💖
I once seen Tony in Yolanda' Adams' video in the 90's for "Gotta have Love". He got saved and changed in the 90's and so did I! This is still a jam in 2018!
This was my jam back in the day. I would always request the dj in the clubs to play it , but i didn't need to, they always had it cued up , hahaha... Nice, brings back memories.
I really don't think George Michael or Tony terry copied each other as both of their albums came out in 1987 ( with this look) it was one of the major styles of that time.. However when this first came out, it was an 80s edited look, channelling James Dean... Even women had edits for this look and Jody watley was one of them.....
I was just on Facebook and there was a debate on if the Big Tymers...Still Fly or three six mafia...Stay Fly was better.....so I typed in She's Fly in the search bar to figure out who made this song bcuz I forgot Tony Terry made this back in 87/88.....so I added this song along with their debate
