Tony-Winning Designer William Ivey Long on the Inspiration Behind His "Cinderella" Costumes 

This man was a good friend of mine in college, at the College of William and Mary, back in l969. He was a senior and I was a sophomore. He was always fun to be around, and he used to dress up in a leprechaun costume, and go to the lunch hall like that.

William Ivey Long is such a genius :-) He deserved that Tony Award. Those costumes are absolutely incredible :-)

William Ivey Long is just a genius! I love how like me, he works best from collages and does this pastiche of everything from Brondel to Taylor Swift!
