£27 in 1976 was a lot of money then ,but the quality is fantastic ,I love to see models recycled /refurbished it’s what the hobby is all about I find it more rewarding than buying the latest items All the best Mark 😊

The only problem is, I can fall asleep way too easily listening to Tony's calming voice (even if the Bachmann loco I am trying to get to run nicely, in not playing ball).

Hmmm.... it might just have been my eyes, but some of the models looked rather 'slippy' on the heavy loads.
