This delves into some of Dr. Mark Cheng's ground based progressions. The objective here is to maintain "anatomical neutral spine" using an alternating (contralateral) stepping pattern.....preventing as much torso movement as possible.
Too, it's important to "push away" from the floor (scapular protraction) and not allow aggressive retraction/adduction.
This is A LOT harder than it looks. And is a great alternative for those who don't have the luxury of extended turf/floor space for traditional bear crawls.
