I’m pretty sure we are brothers. Although I don’t have this system, it was my inspiration for putting in a system similar. I did notice my Sureflow main water pump for the freshwater pump was a little noisy and I’ve implemented many of your techniques to quiet down the pump. Love watching your content as it carries over and is relevant to most RVs. Keep up the great content.

Thanks again for another great vid. The drinking water pump in our Northpoint sounds like a cow giving birth. I'm definitely going to check into some of these mods!

We have a 2023 319MLOK and they mounted the pump on the Side wall next to the fridge on 1/4" plywood, It shook the entire wall when cycling. The best part is the power wire was on the Light circuit over the sink, so it was like 1978 Disco Fever in the Camper when it came on. I relocated the Bottle to the Basement Storage area in a Milk Crate in the MORryde Sliding Tray that I installed. I also Mounted the Pump behind the wall in the Basement Storage next to the Main Pump and ran a Fused Circuit from the Battery to Power it. I also ran a wire and push to connect drinking water line from the Pump in the Basement Storage area back up to the Main Switch beside the sink so it still works like it did from the Factory without the Disco Lights, Vibration and Noise. Tucked the hoses up and out of site, this opened up all the storage under the Sink and now you don't even hear it come on. We love our Jayco but this to me seems like an afterthought while drinking Adult Beverages after the final design approval. I'm not really sure WHAT or IF they were thinking on this. Just my $0.02

Too funny. Yeah I love the concept and I can see why they patented it as it really is a great idea, just could use a few more details and care with the actual execution for model to model. Hopefully though they're listening and reading comments like these so they can refine it in future models.

Thanks for the great video. Can you advise on how to sanitize this system? Do you have to sanitize the ice maker too?
@AdventureRocks
@AdventureRocks 4 месяца назад
Thank you. On my unit the ice line and filtered water dispenser were all fed from the 5 gallon jug. So if you wanted to, you could mix up a sanitizing solution and pump that through the lines first...both the ice line and filtered water dispenser. Maybe an annual task after taking it out of storage/winterizing?

And then as far as the ice maker itself, it probably varies from brand to brand, but you could probably do a few batches of ice and dump those before using.

I subscribed to your feed due to a similar problem with my Jayco front light. When you spend slightly less than or more than 6 figures on a travel trailer you would think that quality control would be paramount. After 3 or 4 emails to Jayco concerning my problems I finally called them to vent. Their website answering system must be broken because the guy I talked to said they had no record of any email correspondence from me. I believe that they don't ship parts is that the dealer is getting profits for basically nothing other than receiving the items. Case in point is the light strip on the front of my trailer. $80 for a 3foot piece of plastic. I had a similar problem with my shower leaking water. Another thing I don't like is the lack of access to the tank valves. They're hidden and operated by cables. This means I have to rip out the underbelly to gain access if one goes bad or a cable breaks. Or arrange to drive 40 miles to the dealer and wait for weeks for a repair at north of $150 an hour labor charge. I'm considering having a decal made naming my trailer "Christine" after the movie. This trailer seems to have a mind of its own on whether something will work or not. This week, I hooked up the trailer and the tongue jack stopped working. Naturally while it was hooked up to my pickup. Would not go up or down. Now I have to dig up a wrench and raise it. I get back to my house and it works fine. I get to the campground and after unhooking, the ground control leveling system refused to work. Hey, i could go on and on.

Sorry to hear! That is all frustrating for sure. Taking care of the customer post sale is very important to the experience for any product, especially higher ticket items. Hopefully they'll get all the issues resolved for you.

Question for you. I've been looking at your amazon list of everything you bought and I want to do the same setup with the quick disconnects on the city water connection and black water flush. I saw you bought a backflow preventer vacuum breaker, but where exactly did you install it?
@AdventureRocks
@AdventureRocks 2 года назад
Yes, I put the backflow vacuum breaker on the brass T that I connect to the campsite water hydrant, so that I've got two outlets for water. Then I use one outlet for the main city water connection going to rv, and the second with the vacuum breaker on it for the black tank flush when I use it. I don't know that technically I need the vacuum breaker on there as by code every RV is supposed to have one internally which is typically hidden in the bathroom cabinet, but I put it on there just as a precaution to prevent any water that's in the hose I'm using for the black tank flush from inadvertently making its way to the main hose that I use for the freshwater/city connection on my RV.

Just bought the 2022 pinnacle 32 RTLS, and the fresh water works at the sink, but not to the fridge, any suggestions?
@alanb.4660
@alanb.4660 Год назад
@@lucilleboule check that the valve is on for the frig...it may be under the kitchen sink or in the back of the lower cabinet on either side of the oven. Also, make sure the water line is not kinked under the slide or in the outside compartment for the frig access.

Have you experienced and repeated short pump runs? Acts like a slight leak however no leaks, it appears mine is experiencing some drain back issues when the container is 1/2 full or less. Do you have any suggestions related to this condition?
@AdventureRocks
@AdventureRocks 2 года назад
If I understand you right, it reminds me of when I had to adjust my bypass valve on the pump. Best way I can describe it is you have to adjust the bypass valve in parallel, but after adjusting the main pressure valve. With some tinkering and small adjustments I finally got it set right and no more small pump runs. I recall found this video helpful: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DdH2Pf-UllA.html But certainly could be something else too. You'll have to report back if you figure it out.

Have you thought about modifying the jug for the drinking water. Maybe something taller and more square or streamlined?
@AdventureRocks
@AdventureRocks 2 года назад
So far I've just stuck with the 5 gal jugs. They are easy for me to move and fill with reverse osmosis water in house. But you're right, probably could get more water capacity with something squared and streamlined.

Great video. I have a 2020 319MLOK and the water pump and water bottle is located under the sink next to the refrigerator. Can you imaging the noise? Also, every time the fridge is loading water for the ice maker. It's really bad. I will follow your advice about protecting/replacing the small pipe/line. Thanks again

I have the 319 as well. My pump is different than yours displayed. Mounted under sink I believe it is a cheaper noisy water pump. Don’t believe the kit will work on my pump. Good video though.
