You do a really nice job in speaking clearly and showing what we need to see on the screen (nice and close) with good lighting. Thanks for doing these! Keep up the good work.
Wow, another playthrough. And what an interesting combination of Gearlocs. Having seen *all*, your playthroughs are among the best. Evenmoreso, they have the best rules explanation as well as a lot of strategic and tactical analyses. Thank you for the time you invested on this.
An absolutely fantastic playthrough. Lighting, camerawork, narration, all are superb. I'm also waiting for my kickstarter copy and these runthroughs will make it much easier for me to get started once I get it. Thanks and please keep making these videos.
Fantastic Playthrough! I am a subscriber of your channel cos of the excellent work done. Am going to follow this adventure all the way to the end! Cheers!
You have a fantastic talent for making these videos, I’m really impressed. I do hope you come back to the channel and make some more soon. I hope all is well with you😊.
So good to finally see a very good player playing an excellent game. I was gonna wait for my copy of Undertow to arrive before watching any of the new Gearloc videos, but I figured watching one will still leave plenty of surprises. I'm so glad I'm watching this and it will give me a headstart on what looks to be another fun and very different Gearloc. Loved the Hot Gasket move. Also, though you didn't need to do it, I put 2 stun dice on the stunned baddie as a reminder he's stunned for 2 rounds and I remove 1 stun die each turn.
Getting back into the game after a move overseas and lots of stress and here I am re-acquainting myself with the game thanks to you. Cheers. Edit: Subbed too.
19:53 should that backup plan only hit 1dmg on the griffon, while the 2 hardy lizards soak it up for 0 dmg? Thanks for the playthroughs, your videos are always very clear
I may eventually. At the moment my plan is to move on to a couple of other games after this playthrough, to ensure my channel has some diversity. But I'll be back to TMB... I can never stay away from it for long ;)
Also... (sorry) I see that on the reference sheet that we only exhaust the build die on assigning attachments, not putting into battle. Is this correct? This way we could put both bots in battle (only one in battle at a time allowed) with only 1 build die... one couldn't have attachments.
At 30:41, you had the orc target the bot but he cannot attack diagonally, right? You rolled a bone so it didn't matter. Also you down ticked Gasket's def dice early on from 2 to 1. Is that a rule change from 1.0 to 1.03? I thought the def dice didn't "make change."
The Orc is Ranged, so positioning of its Target on the mat does not matter. And you are certainly allowed to "make change" with Def dice - this has always been the case :)
@@hlorridirudel9627 Actually on page 9 in the rule book where it goes over the Gearloc mat it goes over this exact same thing. "In the above example, Boomer had a choice of either changing the 2 defense die to a 1 or removing the 1 defense die."
Yes - "Tink can choose to spend 1 Dex during Select and Roll Dice phase to increase Bot Battery Power (uptick die by 1) to the Bot in his Prep area." So you can only spend 1 Dex to do this per turn.
Technically, the Bot's target should be declared during that Phase, even if the Bot won't be deployed until later in that turn. This was an error I consistently made in my videos, my apologies!
