Too Many Bones Playthrough (Goblin King 2 Players) 

It was a valiant effort... More defence is not the answer (the enemies will collectively be doing more damage than you can soak, the best defence is really a good offence). Some ideas of what could have happened differently: - Since you know that the Goblin King will most likely send you to the corners every round, you either need ranged options (max Axes, Poison Dart) or a high dex (7-8 on each character) to make sure you can move back and roll enough dice to make a dent. - A Tantrum skill that I would normally not use much but could have worked a lot in this boss fight would be Intimidate. Move up to the boss, attack to drop his shields, and use intimidate to lower his initiative so in the next round you are both going before the boss. So you will be standing in front of him, being able to roll full dice (and him having no shields)! Cripple is also very useful for, well, crippling bosses. - At 2 gearloc count, having two pure melee gearlocs (any 2 of Picket, Patches and Tantrum) can hurt if it means you can't focus fire effectively. It's still doable, but you need to build around the mechanics of the boss fight (see tips above). - Generally, the trick in this game is to maintain momentum. If you have enough progress points to fight the boss, but you don't have max axes and a good amount of Body Count, it is probably better to do one more normal day, get some more training points/loot and try to get bones to pick up Poison Dart and Axe Collector. The last thing you want is to attempt a boss fight early, lose, and have to fight it again but with less Body Count/Axes/Loot etc.

Really enjoying these playthroughs man. Glad to see I’m not the only one that gets my butt kicked!

Dex is extremely important. There's no point in taking more skill dice or increasing stats that you can roll. At min you should have enough Dex to roll your total attack & defense.

1:29:43 gearloc skills take place after resolve the roll stage. First you put on the defence dice, then attack, then bones and then tyrant dice

you forgot additional dude with first 20pt baddie. (little symbol on bottom right of the chip)

32:35 you should have rolled two attack dice to upgrade the attack stat

The extra goblin baddie you have to put on the BQ? Should it always be the last or like you did, the last 1pt-er?

2:43:55 you don't have to roll defence dice on the second attack

May i know the reason of goblin king rolled 4 dice?
