I entered my first ever fighting game tournament today and lost. I was so fucking nervous, my entire body was shaking, i got 65th place out of 300 entrants.
I love Metyr so much, especially her boss track. Equal parts rapturous and terrifying, it's cosmic horror to a T! The lore is a total bombshell too, you learn that Metyr had once been getting information from the Greater Will, but no longer received any contact shortly thereafter- effectively making the orders of the Fingers obsolete and based on outdated information.
@@ItApproaches well yeah, the people were decimated by the hornsent before Marika even became a goddess of the golden order. That was a long time ago. Most of the "shacks" would have faded away over time as their people were taken away and less people remained to maintain the buildings. I'm willing to bet the only reason the buildings and tree we see remains is due to the minor erdtree blessing Marika left behind preserving them.
if he is playing the dlc on the pre-release version he is fucked when he gets to final boss, that boss has a true combo on that build that is not present on release
Yeah it's wild to me that he never updated so he has all this stuff that's weirdly our of place. Like in Shaman Village I noticed that he got a Marika's Rune not present in the release build and also the "grandmother" in three where you get the Golden Braid is much less root covered in his version. Oh and his version also allowed him to get two Bloodfiend Arms...
gotta be honest the spear is effective but not fun to watch... wish he woulda used more melee weapons so we can get that fighter-gamer feel we all love to see.
