I forgot how good Season 1 was. I remember the animation being sort of mid, but the character designs were actually top tier. It was a very pretty anime, and the season 1 plot was really good. Season 1 is the only time Tower of God had this sort of mystery type plot, and it's probably my favorite season for that not counting the action sequences later.

I think the high ranking administrator bringing in the red haired guy to run this test might be a temporary way to cut Lero Ro out of running his own test because the high ranking administrator knows Lero Ro is kinda on to him or sus of him.
I never comprehended why people felt like too much was being left out of season 1. They couldn't put everything in, yet they put enough in to keep the flow of the show and to stay on the path of the manhwa decently. They put in enough for viewers to get the jist of things well enough, especially as season 1 of Tower of God is much like season 1 of Solo Leveling...the whole thing is basically a big prologue before the real show begins in season 2.
Solo leveling didn't cut scenes or dialogues, only improved scenes while being faithful to the original source, tower of god, and the god of highschool, rushed things up and cut scenes and dialogues to reach the end of the first arc faster. So if you need to cut off stuff, and change scenes and rushed things just to reach the end, doing that make it not being a good adaptation from the webtoon manhwa.
Because multiple things about the tower and tools or power used were left out and they changed the character they didn't have the same personality in the webtoon
@@gabbzzvieira1829 Don't you dare put Tower of God and the God of Highschool in the same category together...the former was a well paced adaptation into an anime, while the latter was a discombobulated rush job that tried to force too much into the first season that it lost cohesion.
"Beauteous" and "beautacious" are two separate words with separate pronunciations, but they have the same meaning so nobody Director flirts with will be able to call him out on it. XD
They did leave out a lot but mostly the power system so don't worry about it lee, only character that suffered from leaving out is endorsi, people will explain to u when the time comes....👍
Cant Remember what was left out, since I did read some of the Manwah, but I think some of it was ok to leave out. And for that Thing hopefully not spoiled will be in the Season ending episode. yea this show was very well paced. I'm sure the Episodes are this way because how Manwah's are Might have enough panels to play with for each episode made.

There were a couple of things changed or left out, but honestly not too much from what I can remember. Pretty faithful adaption of season 1 overall. They do explain the test/game rules a bit more sometimes but it doesn’t always help as much as you’d think as some rules are…a bit convoluted in the original already.
Idk, back then i remember thinking ugh, the manhwa did it so much better. But it's been so long i don't even remember what was changed and what was left out.
