Playing Darkness Falls you really need to focus on melee and shoot only when necessary.

At least in the beginning. Later on, even the non-nighttime/horde night zombies are tougher, and shooting is easier. But by then you can also have silencers for most of your firearms.

The dogs @ 1:22 nearly killed me last night about 30 minutes before I got the "Survive for 28 hours" achievement. Been trying to get that achievement for about 3 years now. Finally got it at about 4 in the morning. I am officially "Nearly Immortal."

i had to look up what nearly immortal's achievement was, "survive 1680 minutes" and i noticed i cleared it in feb 2017, then i noticed almost all of my achievements were from 2016-2017 so i started looking for my most recent. it's "meet your maker, die 28 times" which i got in april this year. i'm not sure how that is possible apart from i did most of my dying before achievements started. if you want to get better at survival real fast. play it ironman style. if you die, you start a new world. if you know there are no respawns you'll have more drive to survive the fights

Neebs use the hoe to harvest - you get more. Farmer starts with shotgun so perk into that. Make dart ammo for your turrets. They do loads more dmg. Crickets are a warning at 7pm. Appsro says haven't we all learned at night and he is walking around with a headlamp on the whole time. :D

Keep practicing with those rifles. With the silencer on it, you could head-shot that entire walking horde and not one would aggro (unless they didn't die to the sneak damage, and it would still be only that zombie coming for you). Hunter with silenced rifle and the sneak dmg perks is amazing. Especially once you get Lever Action Rifle, you'll become the hand of God.

Guys, I would love to see you guys build a good and proper horde base. The hordes are gonna get much tougher in Darkness Falls. This requires a lot of resources you would need to grind for. But because you're all limited for time I wouldn't judge if you just spawned a shit ton of basic resources so you can spend more time on building and adventuring
