You can eat gooseberries raw. I did that all the time when I was a kid and my friend had them in their backyard. You don't have to cook them

Gooseberries are my second favourite berry! We have to bushes in our garden here in Norway, where one of the bushes have red berries and the other one has green, so if you see a really soft green one, it´s completely ready to pluck. You actually don´t have to cook them, but if you eat a lot of them (20-30+++ or something like that), it might effect your tummy, but that has never happened to mel :-) Great videos by the way!

I'm so surprised they don't let you eat the berries at the paths! Wherever I've come to pick my own fruit they said I could eat as many as I could, but you usually have to give them a prepayment so you don't go there just to eat the strawberries but to pick as well. ;)
