Wanted to release the fight club Explained then it got copyright striked. Then I tried to release The Other Side of the wind video then that got striked. I’ll try to re edit them and have them out this week as soon as possible. Sorry for the delay.
You really packed a lot in a short video. I wanted to like this series as i like NWR and especially Ed Brubakers comic books, but so many good characters story arcs just fell apart into nothing. The run time doesn’t bother me it’s what was done with it
One criticism I hear about the show that baffled me is that "the show has weak female characters" which..... what? Diana (Jena Malone) and specially Yaritza (Cristina Roldo) were awesome characters and performed excellently by their actresses, the Mistress of Death herself being my favorite character in the show
They said the same thing about The Neon Demon which main cast is nearly all women. I think it’s them not taking into account the way Refn depicts and writes his characters.
For me it peaks at the 5th episode and then after the 8th episode I lost interest. It seemed that it ended without any real conclusion to the surviving character's stories.
Different is a good description for this. Somewhat Quentin Tarintino esq but with a horrible score. But for some reason it grabs you and sucks you in. I’ll continue to watch it see what I think. Hopefully more 😂
Only thing Quentin about the show is that scenes are slow. Choreography is completely different and obviously the lighting. The show would have way more dialogue as well if it resembled a Tarantino script imo. Also have you made it to episode 7-8 yet? 😂
The only sick fuck I wasn’t rooting for was the cartel boss 😂 he was just weird. Also the main character is slowly introduced to the audience in the early episodes so id have to disagree with ya on those two things
