Too $hort moved away to ATL in the 90s, but no matter where he goes, even if he moved to China, he will ALWAYS be an Oakland dude! It's in his DNA! KMEL did him dirty. I'm from the Bay, this situation was more serious than people realize back in the day.

I’m from the town. When Short put out That’s why the Town got rid of Short. KMEL started kissing his ass again and called a sit down between him and the LUNiZ to save their face for being so disrespectful to Short. Before that song KMEL had vowed to stop playing short records. The Town would have stopped listening to KMEL before we stopped listening to Short.

Seen Short Dog in Columbus Ohio back in 2013 I think it was. He said man I haven't been to Columbus since 86 or 87, y'all know what that means?? Everybody in the club said?? Whaaaat? He said "That means I might be some of y'alls daddy" everybody was like hey man mixed with laughing lol.

Being from Cali I moved to ATL in the early 90's. Bomb time. Last freaknik 95 - me and the homies hit a gas station to fill up the coolers.....Too short and his homies walk out the gas station..we chopped it up wit em...man he kept it real - he was cool - we even passed the blunt to him - that was the most respectful shyt we cld do...West Up!

Much love Too Short. I was backstage with Too Short and Spice 1 in Chicago. The song...So you wanna be a Gangsta. We had about a hundred Gangstas back there that love Too Short. It was packed backed there. lol. I was with my homie Ant Dog. A short dark-skinned guy with his hair slicked back with diamonds all around his shades. Too short was looking like...damn all these mfs. lol. We love Too Short. I went out back and Chilled with Spice 1. He had a face towel on the top of his head. I gave him his space about 20 ft. and smoked me a square. I felt good just being 20 ft away. Love Spice 1 as well. I was about 3 ft from Too Short backstage with Ant Dog. That made my day.
