A man in Brooklyn attacked two women because they were "lighter skinned" . At least one looked non black. Not sure about the other. I knew a guy growing up who would physically attack lighter skinned black girls. People talk about dark skinned black girls attacking lighter skinned black girls but rarely is it mentioned that some males physically assault light skinned black girls who are mixed with a lot of white. Not saying that colorism is not worse for dark girls because it is usually far worse but you have some men with violent rage towards mixed race women
