Wow is all I can say...not about the Steelers play this season, but that my Dad got to take in the sights and sounds of Pittsburgh PA on November 13 2022! Gifting him tickets on his birthday is something I immediately needed to do as soon as I secured season tickets after being on the waiting list for over 17 years! The anticipation kept me from getting a good nights rest but we drank beer, we ate sausage, we played cornhole, and listened to tunes. Then we toured the stadium inside and out including Art Rooney's statue, and Franco Harris' Immaculate Reception monument where Three Rivers Stadium once stood! Then most importantly, we watched the Steelers beat the Saints as Kenny Pickett scored on a keeper on our side of the field. Coach T with this win has beaten every team in NFL and T.J. Watt was back from a multiple weeks long pectoral injury. We were separated by mere feet as We caught a glimpse of Ben Roethlisberger checking in as he attended the game! WOW! Sports memories captured forever with a camera for Dad's first game. It was nothing short of awesome.
