I love how you both have your strengths and you don't say I alreadly looked and there is nothing over there. You recognize that each of you sees things differently .
The silvered glass with the "snowflakes" 3:50 are factory decorated like that. Most of us collectors don't think of them as snowflakes though. We call them "atomic". The pattern is available in various glass types and holders, including low ball and wine.
I did the same happy dance when I found my pickle keeper at a yard sale for $0.25! My aunt has been a Tupperware dealer for 50+ years so I grew up with all of it, I just can't afford to buy them new. The old stuff like that is the best, and if you eat pickles a lot it's great to be able to pull them up out of the juice!
As someone who worked with the older population for years before reselling; And someone who has older parents...THANK YOU for interacting with them! It is so precious!
That is exactly what I posted last video. They are so kind and so pleasant to all the folks who are selling. I am so glad they take their time and realize there are more to sales than just the ‘stuff’.😊
A booth would be a nice addition for things that are difficult to ship and for things not selling well online. Also great to see your creativity arranging the stuff.
Those plates that were next to the the little seagull are called fused glass and if the are made by Peggy Karr they are worth a lot. just wanted to let you know to BOLO for them😊
I have never seen such organized garage sales. Those were beautiful neighborhoods and everything laid with such care. I wish we had these citywide sales in our area.
Fun picking! Those fused glass trays where you bought the stained glass pieces were nice...too expensive? Check out fused glass trinket dishes, trays, plates.
Ohhh, I think you shoulda gotten those little Halloween cats. At the prices she was giving those would have been well worth it, and easy to ship. Oh well. You got such great stuff! I don’t know how you find time to get it all listed, then packaged and shipped. You’re amazing!
Fyi, Kayla... the Tupperware pickle keeper/saver, is called "Pick-a-deli", a play on words, named after the famous Piccadilly Circus in London. (I used to sell Tupperware, in the early 80's) 🤗
Actually Cutco has another longer knife without a serrated edge that is specifically made for frosting. I also have that piece & works great as the blade is about 8 inches long.
I'm a furniture refinisher in Nova Scotia, Canada, and I was drooling over the little chairs and dresser at the first sale you attended in this one! If I was closer . . .
Yes everyone has a booth y’all need one too because there’s lots of bigger items that just make sense to sell local and not ship we love our Booth ! Also can’t wait for the new house tour … and possibly show us some you toured so those looking for a Kentucky house could see what’s available..! Also Hope you had a great Mothers Day Kayla ❤
Kayla. Matt the first sale had so many treasures. I loved the pottery. Makes me happy to see the both of you talking things over your taste is the best. I was going too say not many people.
I dollar for yellow Tupperware thats what i paid 25 years ago and its been constantly this whole time and not a small crack on one of the lids. They clean well hold a lot can stack on each other and are designed well I live Tupperware the new stuff just no imagination in the new stuff.
The pottery was the deal of the day check out the prices some small sets for over 1k and the tequila brand truck was 1942. Came from tequilas sets plus she had extra pcs. The truck alone goes for a min of 200 … but I definitely would have been making a deal for the pottery! But you guys always score nicely so I guess you can’t grab’em all …
One of these times I'm going to count how many times Matt asks, "How much are your little...?" That subtle way of saying, "You want to price these CHEEP because they're nothing of consequence." 😁
Yes booth please, I have a shelf and I have so much fun with it. We are moving to independence kentucky from florida next month and can't wait to go thrifting after watching your videos.
I can’t believe they were getting rid of those Cutco knives! You can get them sharpened for free with a Cutco rep. And they last a lifetime! They are so expensive retail!
Just saw the Frankoma pottery collection, made in Oklahoma. It is heavy from a shipping perspective, but there were some pieces that I have never seen in the wild before. Wonder what they could have gotten the whole lot for, because they could have picked it then flipped it to a local collector/reseller and not have to ship it.
You left those two train cases. The Samsonite and American Tourister. I would have definitely grabbed those. I know they were called train cases back in the day but it's either a Cosmetics case or a medication box, but yeah it's right at the time when he's talking about the bullhorn things broken into three places and then the camera pans up and they're right there!
Nice lil haul. I see items that I’m drooling over, lol. What gets me is items that were big and in demand back in the day,are selling so well for you guys. Hugs,😊❤
Shoes and clothes are my least favorite things to list too! Cutco knives twenty five cents each what a score. I really enjoy watching the two of you picking together.
Woo hoo!!😅 You two had a blast at the yard/garage sales today..😍😮 Love all the great finds y"all got..🤗 Keep up the excellent work guys..🎉 Take care..👍❤🔥🤙
