Very nice recording, thanks! My wife and I were there. I’m 66 yrs old and I had just found out that I have cancer. I was a total basket case so we went to a Tool show with my emotional support shrooms. It was a very spiritual experience, kinda like mixing up a rave with 1969 Woodstock love and peace. I suspect more than a few folks were on X because of all the hugs going around. This show has replaced Pink Floyd as my all time best concert experiences. Can’t wait to see them again. I had surgery 5 days ago to remove my prostate. Tool has helped get through this terrible experience. Invincible really hit home. I cried.
Sorry to hear about your cancer diagnosis, glad to hear how tool helped you feel better and yes their music takes you on a journey of sight and sound like no other band…..sending healing vibes your way!💪🏻stay strong
Dude I have to say as a disabled 69 yr old man that has never had the opportunity to see them live this is the by far the best out there. I have wished for years that they would put out a live DVD, having watched all on RU-vid yours id by far the best I've seen. So I just want to say thank you, you have made this old man's day and I have subscribed . Thanks again
I was there. Well done getting video! Security was tight. I got a great audio recording but didn't dare take a photo until Schism. Highlight for me was Intolerance, those visuals!!!
FINALLY a solid video and audio upload from the show. i know its VERY hard considering the bands stance on filming but thank you for your work and sharing. muuuuuch appreciated.
The bands stance? They’re only concerned about the camera light or bright phone screens. When there’s 700 camera screens/lights blaring it ruins the light/laser show for everyone else. TooL has always advocated for bootlegs and even piracy in the past (they supported the entire Napster charade back in 99’/00’ before it was shut down)…it’s the phone lights that have caused problems and complaints.
@@woebringer7884 Maynard HATES phones. Saw him w/ the Sessanta tour recently and they did an entire bit about throwing fans with phones into a wood chipper
RIGHT FUCKING ON! 62 HERE ALSO DISABLED AMERICAN BORN AND RAISED IN NY LOVE THESE GUYS! THIS SHOW WAS ON MY BIRTHDAY. HOPE I GET TO SEE THEM ONE DAY LIVING IN UPSTATE NY AIN'T THE BEST PLACE BUT I WOULD TRAVEL FEW HUNDRED MILES ONE DAY MAYBE GOD WILLING.
The audio here is damn good compared to many others that are posted. I like the multi video feed also. Nice video altogether, thanks for taking that risk
My wife and I were there. We drove four hours from Craig Colorado to see them, and she got sick the day we left for Denver. She kept getting sicker and sicker and I thought she was going to stay at the hotel and sleep, but she decided to go. She did fall asleep on my shoulder for a couple of songs, which is impressive in and of itself. She was pretty dosed up on cold meds. But it was a great show. I am so glad we went. My wife is a warrior. Tool is the best. Elder killed it too! We have a two-year-old, so it is hard to get out of the house at all, let alone get a babysitter for a couple of nights to go to a concert in Denver, so it might be a while before we can see them again. The two-year-old loves Tool, but she listens to no one... so when Maynard tells her she can't record video... you know she is going to record just to spite him. Terrible twos...
The best show I've seen of Tool in a long time, it was great to be there, thanks a ton for this video, while I only recorded Schism, but this keeps the memory fresh!!!
@diffusesden5455 yep we were there. Seats were perfect, sound was on point, all was brilliant but maybe a lil off moment for Adam here and there but totally different set list for me after seeing them 9 times in the past other than Intolerence/Flood which I'd seen once in 1992 with like 20 other people on a super small stage. That being the ultimate show for me. Until they play the sphere in vegas.... please whoever make that happen!!
Thank you so much for your dedication to get this solid recording. Spent my Saturday night jamming out to this concert at home with my kids. Thank you thank you, well done.
Love this! I have loved tool since I was a teenager, Im42 now and tool just takes me down memory lane. Forever one of my favorite bands, hell they raised me alongside some other 90s greats…thanks tool♥️thanks crispy 🙏
It absolutely killed me that they were 10 miles away from me and I didn't get to go again! They are my dream show. Maynard is well ( the entire) group is what happens when you take your craft seriously and take care of yourself even with all the fortune and fame, they look and sound better than ever. Shame on you for not respecting their wishes to not video them. But at the same time thankyou. At least I get to enjoy them from good ol RU-vid. Maynard is sounding so good almost being 60 the man loves life. Love what he does and just keeps getting better and better. Long live TOOL
The stage looks really cool with those additional seats on each side, even though probably not the best experience to sit out there. Thumbnail looks incredible!
I have the audio on and the video minimized, and at 33:37 I just said out loud to myself "There's no fucking way he's playing that," and had to click right back to the video to see. Danny is an ANIMAL. A drummer that's so good at his craft, I feel lucky just to be able to listen to him!
There were so many amazing moments at this show, but the one that stood out to me the most is the tones, textures, and depth Justin was producing leading out of Chocolate Chip Trip into Flood. It sounded like he was playing 25 guitars at once and the sound was thick as the primordial soup of a newly born galaxy.
Man, the sound here is amazing, especially during calmer sections like 19:55. really wish I could have seen them this tour, love that they are playing more 10000 Days stuff 1:07:45 nothing like having to hear an argument with some ffffffff... I mean guy
Lol love how Maynard bitched about cell phones 😂 I got to go hiking with the band in hawaii, it was awesome, I slipped and fell like 10 ft off these slippery moss coveted rocks and Maynard came running over with a paper bag cuz I thought I might start hyper ventilating 😅!!! Hilarious 😂
Good job on the camera work. Keeping it steady requires some stealth when people are in front of you. I don't think I could manage without a ledge to rest it on in a front row. Side note, I've seen this band a ton and still haven't been to Red Rocks for them, bucket list right there.
It hits hard af to.... took me right back to early 90's first time seeing them with about 20ppl in a small room and maynards sweat and spit flying. I had intolerance and swamp song on repeat that whole summer.... hits just as hard today as it did then. 😊
@@andalucianm00n Hell yeah, I love the undertow album for the raw sound. Wish i could have seen them during that time, but was too young. haha , had to wait till the lateralus tour in 00/01. I want to hear Jerk-off live with maynard at the same intensity as the album... but wont happen, they getting old.
Picture this Coachella 2006....10,000 Days is about to drop 2 days later. I was there. And they did Jambi. Fast forward...same year. I'm at Staples Center show and Rosetta Stone was the opening song. This shit never happened to me!
