@@tariks8636 some think so, but theres a lot of theories about eulogy and none have been confirmed or denied. I think eulogy is more likely about bill hicks
First! Hey LFR FAM... SAVE A BABY ELEPHANT 🐘 OR BABY 🐼 Love this fam❤ TOOL is pure 🔥🔥Maynard's voice, Danny,Adam,Justin..true musicianship. I can listen to them everyday! And I do!! MIC DROP!🎤
THE GRUDGE man from tool but the studio version, please check it out! And be ready for my man Maynard screaming for 23 seconds straight! It’s incredible trust me! Peace 🤟🏻
My favorite line, "Welcome to Arizona Bay." There actually could be a place called that after California falls off the Continent caused by the "fault lines that cannot sit still."
every time I'm listening to this album, Bill Hicks comes to mind... he was AWESOME stand up comedian, you could do a reaction to one of his sketches ;)

Man.. great reaction, that is probably one of my top 10 Tool songs for sure. Maynard has never been afraid to say what's on his mind. You really need to listen to the Judith Marie Keenan trilogy. The 1st song is Judith. (A Perfect Circle). 2nd is Wings for Marie (Pt1), and last, 10,000 days (wings Pt 2) from the album 10,000 days. The songs are about Maynard Keenan's mother Judith Marie Keenan who had suffered for many years from a stroke and was paralyzed. She was an extremely religious person and she never faltered from the path. If I remember correctly, Judith was written before she passed and the last 2 songs were made after her death. These songs were created by Maynard as not only a tribute to his mother, but also it's a very intimate glimpse into his grieving process. Worth it Man! Trust me!!
This song is one of Tool’s most straight forward lyrically. Maynard absolutely hated LA and that’s what this song is about. “See you down in Arizona Bay”.
Yes and no, it’s a homage to bill hicks a comedian who in his set talks about how much he hated la and wants Mother Nature to wash it all away, this album was dedicated to the late great bill hicks, may he Rest In Peace.
Man, if you love drumming you need to hear Brann Dailor of Mastodon. I'd recommend Capillarian Crest. They guy is super fast and super tight. Heavily influenced by jazz and rock. He's like Danny Carey in the sense that he's one of a kind and his time signatures are out there. I think you would really enjoy him. Love the channel, keep it up 🤘
I sang this song one time on karaoke night and the whole bar silently stared as I sung the best lyrics of the song, then loudly cheered afterwards: "Fuck L Ron Hubbard and Fuck all his clones Fuck all those gun-toting Hip gangster wannabes Learn to swim Fuck retro anything Fuck your tattoos Fuck all you junkies and Fuck your short memory Learn to swim Fuck smiley glad-hands With hidden agendas Fuck these dysfunctional Insecure actresses Learn to swim 'Cause I'm praying for rain And I'm praying for tidal waves I wanna see the ground give way I wanna watch it all go down Mom please flush it all away I wanna see it go right in and down I wanna watch it go right in Watch you flush it all away Time to bring it down again Don't just call me pessimist Try and read between the lines I can't imagine why you wouldn't Welcome any change, my friend I wanna see it come down Burn it down Suck it down Flush it down" this guy was hungry, frustrated and spilling his heart out when he made this album. he hated LA/Hollywood before it was cool to hate it now owns and lives on a vineyard in AZ. just waiting on his Bayfront property! haha.
Didn't see it in the 1st 20 or so comments, so some background: This song is based on a bit by Bill Hicks about how happy he would be if Los Angeles fell into the ocean due to an earthquake, leaving us with, "the cool calm serenity... that is Arizona Bay." This album was made shortly after Bill died in 94 and its album art includes a portrait of him as a physician with the epitaph, "Another dead hero."
Mannnnn I will never EVER complain about any tool reaction or song choice. There is no bad tool song, BUT DAMMIT no one ever reacts to one of the hardest hitting, fucking bash your face in and absolutely blow your mind TOOL songs ever......The Grudge from lateralus. Metal/Rock/Prog Metal does not get any better or more of a masterpiece than that song. Van, if you haven’t heard it, listen to that shit in your car. And thank me some day lol
Please react to TOOL-Hooker with a Penis! Don’t be afraid of the title of the song! Just do it! You’ll laugh you’re ass off! 😂😂😂 also make sure to do a lyric video! You won’t regret it! 😂
I know you like Dan Curry but if you want to be introduced to the rock drum God then check out John Bonham playing Moby Dick live. You will absolutely not be able to believe what he do with a set.
My favorite line, "and I can't see why you wouldn't welcome any change my friend" this is my number one despite being a fan for almost 3 decades. Blasphemous I know but this track hit me hard. I'll see Maynard in Arizona bay if it all goes to sh...
So I was fortunate enough to see this song live 6 times between last May and this February. Adam’s high pitched guitar tones brought me tears of joy and gave me a full body TOOLgasm every. TOOL is simply unlike any other band you will ever encounter. I’m excited to follow your journey through their music. Side note, it’s ALWAYS wise to have lyrics handy on a second screen, because they’re usually very deep with many layers and meanings
Comedian Bill Hicks had a routine called Arizona Bay (the lyric says "see you down in Arizona Bay"). This song is a tribute to his art. "Learn to Swim" was his phrase. Unfortunately, he died of Pancreatic Cancer in 1994 at the age of 32, just over a year before they recorded this album. A lot of the album is in his homage.
You are by far my favourite RU-vidr' #1 Your Tool reactions literally bring me so much joy.. Watching and re-watching your videos helped me out of a really 'dark place' recently.. Thank you for what you do, thank you so very much.. 🖤 'SPIRAL OUT' 🎶🔧🌀🌀🌀🔧🎶

Blows my mind how people never heard this before. This album was the soundtrack for my last year of high school because that's when it came out. Seen them with the Melvins that summer. Maynard was dressed up like roger daultry in a Arena that was probably 90 or more degrees in
