That makes sense....I found it when I was helping to clean out an old family friend's house. I wondered what is was originally designed for. Works great as a pick.
Ha ha....it looks like it would be heavier. It's only 21 pounds (9.5 kg) so it's not too bad. The shoulder strap helps if I'm carrying it a distance. If I carried it everyday to a jobsite, etc. then I would probably work on making it even lighter.
Hi Lee - thanks for your question. This is really tools used for common around-the-house fix things type work - it's not for a dedicated professional tradesperson. It basically solves the problem of running back and forth to your garage/basement/workshop to grab that other tool you forgot to grab. So, I grab it when I'm headed to my parents house, my daughter's college apartment, or when something isn't working around the house. An IKEA box arrives, I grab the bag. Make sense? In my next video, I'll show two other bags that I keep next to it - one for electrical work and one if I will be drilling or driving screws.
