I was an atheist before I first listened to Tool, after having a psychedelic experience while listening to Tool I regained my faith in Christianity and I have Tool to thank for that, their music led me on a spiritual journey, say what you want and wether or not the band channels dark energy is irrelevant to the fact that they had an everlasting impact on my life and led me to God, I guess that completely debunks any point that this band is all evil, for me it’s the complete opposite 🤷‍♂️🌀✝️

I met Danny and Justin at a club in Brisbane, Australia after one of their shows. They were both soft spoken and courteous. Danny particularly had a gentle handshake. Justin was describing to us how Tools music is simply their outward artistic expression of their individualistic selves, and their creative ideas. As a visual artist i could relate. The narrator could ask himself, does this music resonate with me? Does this art uplift me, inspire me, make me grow, nourish me, even enlighten me? If not, then leave your speculation and admonishment out of the musicians lives - stop projecting onto them (itself a form of occultism), and find your art/life that truly resonates with you. After all, if the Christ and thine own self are One, then you will have nothing to fear ,except fear itself, and to remedy that you may just need a dose of FEAR INNOCULUM.. Only Jesus saves right Narrator? Not your own mortal, humble self Ask yourself listener, have these musicians inspired your life in some way for the good? If so, go with it... because they have absolutely and positively inspired mine

Demons are a metaphor for darkness. Angels are a metaphor for the light. Balance by opposites the old scripts are not literal but point to cosmic identity and that's why it gives humans the illusion of connection. We are all connected and we are all seperate.

It's kind of hilarious how the guy who made this video seems 100% more familiar with Danny Carey and Tool than half the "fans" ree-ing in the comments here.

Don’t get me wrong, Tool is an amazing band, but there are four things that caught my eye as a listener (and lifelong fan) in the past that makes me believe they are in fact connected to the darker side of music - 1 . Danny’s father was a master Mason (as you’ve said in the vid). It’s undeniable that he likes the occult. It’s undeniable that he’s an amazing drummer. Whether it’s some sort of channeling mixed in with his raw talent, or some sort of black magic fuckery, the dudes got chops nonetheless and has made music millions adore 2. I’m 52% sure Maynard is a Freemason himself. On the cover of “A Perfect Union of Contrary Things,” he is giving one of the many secret hand gestures the masons use (hand in the shirt, idk what it’s called exactly). I’m not saying just because he’s a Freemason he’s in cahoots with Satan or that all Freemasons are, but with Danny’s father being a member, it makes you think what goes on behind the scenes when you’re a multi-million dollar musician and associated with a secret society 3. Maynard speaks in Hooker with a penis, “I sold my soul to make a record.” Now, I’m highly aware Ænima leans towards the comedic side of music both lyrically and instrumentally. But on such an honest diss track, where Maynard clearly screams out his true feelings towards the ignorant sell out he once met, it makes you wonder if he’s putting it out there to be true to himself, or just to be funny. Maynard is quite the comedic genius when it comes to lyrics, so who can really say (On a side note, selling your soul is a real thing. Musicians (and rappers especially) let it leak out every once in a while that they have made that deal. Bob Dylan is a good example because fuck rap music) 3. In the RU-vid vid with Sylvia Massy where Tool is recording Undertow, there is a GIANT pentagram behind Danny as he’s warming up. I think some candles are lit around it as well. That to me is a wtf kind of moment. Either way, whether they’re satanists, average joes, Christians, Buddhists or Irish, they make killer music. I have never heard Danny saying that he channels demons in his drumming. I have heard him say he channels past drummers. Are those the Demons you are referring to? This is all just some stupid Q crap, especially when you bring up the vaccine part.

I've studied religion, spirituality, the occult, psychology and many other things associated with these concepts. I've also had experiences that were not drug induced. Danny uses the forces of both sides to his benefit and maynard seeks to make his listeners more aware of their own consciousness. This video is made out of fear and edited in a way to make everyone else fearful as well.

All of what mentioned is literally just Danny’s interests and hasn’t brought anything horrible upon anyone, and lowkey amps up the cool factor. It’s kinda cool and interesting how his practices give Tool their unique vibe. The narrator dude seems like he didn’t do much research and was kinda talking out of his rear. He actually _did_ summon a demon, once. However, the demon got completely caught off guard by all of his fantastic aggressive beating on them drums. It freaked tf out & ran away, scared. Ever since than, _all_ of Hell & it's nightmarish creatures are truly, actively, terrified of Danny & what he can do on those drums! 😈💕

Great vid! I am most interested in this topic as I'm a Christian drummer and can play almost every tool song. I play for the Church also. Lucifer was in charge of the music in heaven so he should know a thing or two but God created him and HE is the source of everything especially creativity. We can only pray that Danny wakes up to the reality of the situation and who the true God is. God bless Nerds!!!

Every time I go to a TOOL show, I leave possessed by demons. Thats why I go. Because without Danny 's ability to summons demons through black magik drumming, I would just be a boring old person.

regardless of what you think about this video, it's good to know and understand what's going on... in the words of the great pastor James Wickstrom, "The Father says that everything is for you to know and to understand." sure, Tool's music is exceptionally dark, but i don't really get the impression that their drummer is necessarily "evil..." it could very well be that he's using what he knows to warn us of what the "dark forces in high places" intend for all of us (see Faaip De Oiad and the rest of Lateralus). i've been spending the last couple years digging into what the TRUTH about the world we live in is, and it's really hard to figure it all out without at the very least knowing what the occult is and some of what they talk about... i can guarantee you that this world is not what it's been made out to be. practically nothing we believe about it is accurate at all. for those of you who really want to know the truth: you have to look at EVERYTHING in the historical/geographical/genetic/genealogical records of everywhere in the world, not just what's written in the Bible. staying pigeonholed in one source is unwise and illogical. I have to say it. The majority of the stuff these guys say in interviews and the like (especially back in the 90s and early 2000s) is largely BS. A lot of stuff to get their fanbase riled up.

There are christian tomes of magic. The world isn't this black/white picture you try and paint. Every religion contains some occult elements. The problem is you want their servitude and do and say whatever you can to make people dependent on your particular flavor of theology. Evil, selfish intent is what makes something wrong. Wether you align with some abrahamic faith or with some coven of witches means nothing really. What matters is what you do and why. Be it for the greater good of your community or to gather wealth and power for yourself is what you should pay attention to.

Have you not seen the face of an athlete channeling all their energy to perform at the highest level? I'm sure you could find hundreds, if not thousands, of images showing similar faces on individuals not demonically possessed. As an accountant, I guarantee I have made that same face while trying to reconcile an account! Passion makes people uncomfortable because most people have a fear of losing control or of judgment from others.

I wish the world was cool enough where geometry could summon demons through song or whatever. The band seems to have an interest in fringe beliefs, at least on a curiosity level, but is this any more weird than what mainstream religions spout? I think you just don’t hear about people believing this shot very often so it seems weirder. But if you read the comments, tons of mainstream theists believe that these beliefs are somehow dangerous, and therefore have some kind of potency. A virgin birth, talking animals, and a man living in a fish are all just as statistically unlikely and bizarre when you ignore mainstream popularity. I don’t know how adults put more stick in it than ‘probably not real but I don’t mind practicing for cultural reasons,’ personally. But the band seems to write a lot of music about self-improvement and personal growth. So they appear to use whatever they each believe as a positive crutch.
