those dudes rock. imagine in the mid 90's hearing Tool practice this song randomly at a studio and you're sitting in the next room covering metallica...
Man, if you listen to that cover and do not pay attention as if you were listening to it with eyes closed. You can easily think that it's actually Tool. As a musician myself, I can only say hat's off to you guys !!!
I’m 54 and been listening to Tool my whole adult life. They are by far my favorite artist. That was amazing, simply amazing. Only Tool could possibly do it better. Great job from a really talented group of musicians!!!
My cousin was a late bloomer too he was so retarded the doctor said couldn't legally declaring him as an adult until he was 39....... that may go over a few people's heads🤣 I'm 33 for 1989 2 years after this guy became an adult not a good days until recently popular 1987
65 year old dude who has played guitar 60 years, owns studio, engineer. I know good when I hear good. This is NOT good….IT IS AWESOME!!! You guys totally blew this one out. Great job!
I am a very picky TOOL fan. I can find issues with every cover I have watched on youtube. Especially with the drumming because Danny Carey is a GOD. That said, I find ZERO faults in this performance, this was greatness. Thank you for sharing!!!
I share your pickiness. Not just with TOOL, but regarding covers in general. This was a very good cover. I still contend that Faith no More's cover of War Pigs is the best cover of all time, and that if Black Sabbath had modern recording equipment in 1970, it would sound exactly like FNM. As for covers of Forty Six and 2, Check out this link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mYKLvYGqaC0.html I think you will be truly impressed with how well these kids do it.
Dude … I’m a huge tool fan but a guitarist … there is a huge fault with me for the way the tone and delay sounds during the intro and verse… but I still have to give kudos to them ..8/10 .. they also really messed up the time signature during the drum solo for a two bars …
This is one of my favorite songs, by one of my favorite bands. But I've never seen performed LIVE, didn't think it was possible. So, this was just incredible and unbelievable! These guys can ROCK! Wow! Sounded just like the song on the album. Amazing rock performance.
OMG JAW DROPPING.. I'm a huge tool fan hesitated to listen and then once I started my jaw just dropped unbelievable I'm just blown away I'm sharing with a lot of people
This wasn't obvious? 🤣🤣🤣 they're covering Tool, it's normal that they have studied what they play 🤣🤣🤣 this is what a cover is, nothing really special actually....a waste of talent
We gonna just ignore the fact that this drummer switches seamlessly from right handed to left handed and back again? Steve Smith would be proud, well done kid 👏
One of the most influential bands and lead singers that got me through some tough times. This is the best cover to any of their songs I 've ever heard. Complete audio gold here, every single aspect and angle to this song was absolutely crushed!!!
I am an old guy and it takes a lot to impress me. Here I am impressed. Y'all remained true to the song and made it your own. Great job. Imma have to listen to this again.
I think this band is remarkable!! I watch all the videos in complete amazement on how much talent all the brothers have.Come to Tucson,Arizona I would luv to see this LIVE...glo
Anything Danny Carey I imagine isn’t easy. I agree he’s gotten better but they all have. I’ve been following them since they first started posting on RU-vid
Thanks Mark - much appreciated. Please check out our originals too. The pinned video on RU-vid is our latest single. Check out the other ones too. Thanks for the support 🤘🏼🇦🇺 www.mixedupeverything.com
Ok, gotta be honest… expectations were low. You don’t just cover a TOOL song… however y’all killed that. Credit where credits due. Well done. That was mega!
incredible, extra special shout-out to the bassist, because he got the album tone just right, which is something i don't even think Justin has done at a single one of TOOL's live shows sick guitar tones too, *very* crunchy
Damn! You guys killed it! This is one of my favorite Tool songs, and Tool is one of my absolute favorite bands, so I am not easy to please with Tool covers. But you guys fucking nailed it!!! Now I'm hooked--I need to check out what you guys write.
This is by far your best one guys. Iv been following you for years and this is just on another level. 4:20 onwards gave me shivers. Drumming was off the meat rack!!! Love from Perth 🇦🇺
Huge Tool fan for many years! Stinkfist was my favorite song for a long time but now I just love all Maynard's music. I absolutely love A Perfect Circle too. Fantastic job guys! And all of you have the same exact hair making you look like quadruplets ❤😎❤🤘
This is a sterling cover of a very difficult song! Kobe and Blake give tutorials on how to get it done, and Kevin delivers one of his best performances, combining excellent play with a great physical workout, as evinced by his washboard abs! I modestly prefer to cover my washboard abs with a several inch layer of fat!
What a beautiful cover. And this Red Room edition outshines all others, by far. Visually, this particular Red Room effort is totally mind blowing. Thanks so much MUE. Let's keep rocking. 🎧
*Un. Fucking. Real.* I just discovered you guys like 10 minutes ago when I saw your cover of "Lightning Crashes" recommended under the original music vid. Was blown away that a few young lads busking in Bourke St mall played the best cover of that song I've ever heard. Went to your channel, clicked the most recent vid, and I'm suddenly witnessing the most phenomenal Tool cover I've ever heard. I've watched Tool tribute bands play entire headline shows, but nothing even close to as good as this was. I'm lost for words, seriously. Are you guys still in Melbourne? I GTFO last winter, but would be trying to catch you boys live ASAP if I was still down there. Seriously unreal the talent & level of skill you've all developed at such a young age, just fucking phenomenal. Instant sub from me, that's for sure!
As always, another excellent cover!!. It's great for me to see that young people still enjoy playing and performing rock music! Don't let the party go down!!
Amazing all around. Drum solo towards the end is my favorite part of the song. Almost forgot this was a cover. The singer is unique like Maynard himself.
Dude.. ..guys I am speechless. Life long Tool fan. Not only did you guys absolutely kill it that was the was the best cover of that song I have ever heard.......period. keep it up fellows keep it the fuck up!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have a really talented drummer keep up the good work boys been a while since I've been on your channel and the covers I'm seeing are top notch honestly amazing performance if you ever go on tour in the uk I will be booking tickets straight away
“I believe that music is a force in itself. It is there and it needs an outlet, a medium. In a way, we are just the medium.” One of MJK’s more esoteric quotes but you believe it when you see these guys
Seeing these guys progress from when they were kids is so awesome to watch. Encourage every kid to pick up an instrument..great job on that song too...
I’ve been a Tool fan as long as you guys have been alive. I know every nuance to every song and you guys pulled that off. Not to take away from the talent of the band as a whole, wrap that drummer in super fantastic bubble plastic bc he’s going places.
You guys continue to get better. Props to the drummer for pulling off a hugely technical (and probably one of Carey’s best drum performances) on a smaller kit. Impressive!
Holy shit this is a legit cover. Your vocal tone works well covering Maynard, and you managed to get that “tool” bass sound perfect. Not to mention matching Danny Carey’s polyrhythms on drums is no small feat. Guitar was super solid too. You boys destroyed this. Thanks for sharing.
The 'I' scream reminds of Chris Cornell. But very very well done. Half of the band seems a lefty too. Hope they'll protect their ears, would be a waste to ruin it at such a young age.
Nobody, and I mean anybody, has ever covered this song as accurately and as well done as you have here. Absolutely amazing. From the vocals to the guitars and drums, its all incredibly perfectly done. The band Tool would be impressed.
Damn y'all f*cking KILLED IT!! yesssssss proud subscriber right here!! Also I'm a left handed bassist so I totally have mad appreciation for what y'all do and the fact that all y'all are so young I hope y'all come to Florida I would love to see y'all live!!
With almost 2,000 comments there is nothing left to say but wanted to thank you for the goosebumps...Capturing the notes is one thing but you guys also captured the soul of that song.
Thank you for commenting, loving and appreciating 🤘🏼🇦🇺 We’d appreciate the support for our originals too (iTunes Spotify etc..) or just head to our website www.mixedupeverything.com We’ve got some cool merch too. Thanks for the love n support.
Guys! Holy shit! That was incredible! Absolutely nailed it! Tool are my og favourite band and you bloody killed it. Been watching your channel for years and you are so dam right now! Everyone of you nailed that. I'd love to see what Adam, Danny or Justin though of that cover!
That was effin awesome! Loved the spin on the bassist singing. Putting your own flair into a fucking awesome song!!! Thank you that. I’ll be watching again.
