Greetings!, I have seen you frequently use that light green color material in your jigs, maybe it is the one called "HMR", but it is practically unknown here in my country (Mexico)... Could you please explain to us why do you prefer it, and if possible, can you give us its especifications, in order to know more clearly what it is, or choose the most similar material, Thanks in advance and congrats for your always ingenious ideas.

I don't see the need for second part if you just using the backside of the saw guide. Except maybe as a positioner. But a rule would do that.
