Absolutely. I have been hooked on this song for the last 2 weeks like crazy. Listening to it over and over and over again. This is why nothing comes close to Tool, at least for me. You can be mesmerized by any of their songs at any given point in time and just get lost in it. I have been a fan for 20 years and never looked back once I found them. I wish for everybody to find something in their life, be it music or anything else, to give them the feeling I and many people around the globe have while listening toTool. A journey indeed.
I’ve been learning to play guitar for a couple years now & I’ve gotta say you’ve got the best video production on tabs I’ve seen yet! And of TOOL songs of all things (bless you) lol. Grateful for these man, thank you!
Damn, your videos are just top notch! The format is f*cking awesome and the sound is spot on. You have really raised the bar. Thank you for your hard work! PS, you ever consider tackling their version of No Quarter?
As always, these videos continue to inspire me to keep at my guitar learning. Such fantastically made videos, cannot thank enough for the effort you put in!
I remember I wanted to learn this song and went to your channel to find it. But it wasn't there yet. Then I had to find it out another way haha. I have it covered on my channel but I wished I could see this one before I did it.
The other day I came to your channel in order to learn how to play this on my guitar, but there wasn't any video about it. And you've just uploaded it. Thank you man!!(btw awesome job as always, and the song is fantastic)
I love your channel so much! Keep up the good work. The first song I learned all the way though was vicarious and i learned the whole thing by watching your cover over and over again. Im a little bit better now but not good enough to learn tool songs without your channel😂
Please do THIRD EYE….album or salival version. Would love to hear your take on the effects and tone knob changes throughout the song….it would complete the Aenima album too…thanks
I originally thought th e opiateforthe masses guy was the best but his videos lack your really professionally recorded video and audio. Best on you tube. Thank you.
His videos are great though and set a good foundation of what to expect of the song when I’m transcribing it. But I still have to do a lot of cross checking
@@MaxNiessl The Quality of yours is far superior. Learned alot form yours and enjoy them alot. Not just the Tool ones. The original mysic is great too.
I don’t know if you still do Karnivool covers but I’ve yet to see one of Illumine and I know you’d do it justice if you were interested. If not, you make great videos and keep up the good work dude :)
Great video and playing Max! Do you emulate your pedals with the kemper as well? Is it a preset with them on and preset with them off etc? or do you have control to toggle the pedals during the preset? Just curious :)
@@MaxNiessl Yeah ofc! It sounds very nice. Its not everyone who can crank a VH4 and a Plexi at home to record a song without hearing loss 🥴. Just pointed it out so no one starts looking for a fuzz to get his tone ahah. Great playing as usual. You're everyone's "go to" for learning Tool songs properly. Thanks Max
Love the video bro, I do have a question tho. Do I pick the sliding notes? For example after you hit the open d and slide from 3 to 12 do I strum when I fret the 3? New player so I’m trying to figure out tabs lmao
Bro are you gonna get that Adam Jones Les Paul Standard? Get that baby and put a Seymour Duncan DDJ custom wound by MJ in it oh yeees :D Actually possible to get that guitar cause its not limited
yo how do you feel about your les paul, just ordered an gibson les paul standard 60s and feeling nervous about it lmao. Considering all the bad rep gibson has had about their qc and such.
I’m personally very happy with the guitar. Coming from my previous guitars, the quality is astounding. In my experience most guitars above the 1.200$ mark are very well made. I would say though, that anything above 1.200$ is more of a cosmetic defined price tag and won’t alter the sound much. At least that is my experience. Also, single bodied guitars are prone to break if not handled with care - no matter the price tag. Hope that gives you comfort and have fun with your guitar! 🤘🏼
Don’t mean to be nagging or anything, and I’m sure you already have plans for the next song, but soon could you maybe do forty six & 2, or maybe some undertow songs like 4°, flood, or undertow?
Hey Jared, I will be back! I just have a lot of things going on at the moment. Congrats on the channel! I personally don’t have any real tips, but try to always have fun with it. Engage with your viewers in the comments as much as possible and don’t let someone get you down :)
