Can we all admit that Pneuma is the real standout banger from FI? All the FI tracks are good, but Pneuma is perfection and sits on the pantheon along with the other classics like Sober and Stinkfist, Schism and Lateralus
Amen. 🙏 Love the whole album but this one is something special. 😍 Was so made up to see them do this and Pushit Live recently. 🤪 Both in my top 10 TOOL trax. 💥
Pneuma is the best gateway song to recruit new Tool fans, most accessible and easy to listen to. For me, having known and loved their music for decades now, there are better songs on this album than Pneuma. Two, possibly three even. But yes, Pneuma is a very good song indeed. Absolutely love it.
Saw them live in KC last month. Single most spiritual experience of my life. Best concert ever. First time seeing them as a fan for 20+ years. The light show was intense too. My only letdown was that they didn't play Schism. Which has always been not only my fav Tool song but fav song in general. Took my daughter with me her first concert. She was blown completely away and talks about it at least once a day since lol. She loves Tool as well so I must be doing at least one thing right haha.
I had the same experience yesterday in Copenhagen. I've been a fan since I heard Schism in the radio and I was in high school, hahah! I wish they played that track on this tour 😞😞 but it was phenomenal to finally catch them live!
The latest set list is very interesting They traded out some staples like schism but we get stuff like the patient that they basically never play, and the grudge
"How about that man. I'm serious! How. About. Fucking. That." Exactly. Thank you Tool for this masterpiece and thank you Tony Pook for a recording of excellent quality
I love this song. It might actually be my favorite ( hard to choose , TOOL has so many great ones) such talented genius’s! I’m convinced if you have depression, put your headphones on and listen to this song. The depression will go away.
I had VIP for this tour. Got to see the band sound check and saw the show from the 3rd row. Best show I’ve ever seen. This recording is amazing. Thank you!
Was at this show 6 rows from the front left of center by myself. Sing my heart and soul out the whole time. I'll never forget that night. Thanks for these awesome videos as well, they are great quality.
Just saw tool last night in Portland. Partly inspired by this video, though I’ve always wanted to. It’s hard to describe the emotions the performance of this song elicits. You want to laugh/cry/cheer all at once. Just total ssensory overload. Truly an incredible thing. I’ve never heard a crowd of 30,000 people react in such a way
Tool's music has been a huge influence. Specifically Adam's playing style continues to push my guitar playing to new levels and not in a technical sense of course. In my opinion, this is some of Tool's best music yet which is not typical with bands retaining longevity. Great recording Tony. Sounds great. The video was awesome too bro. I watch this video almost every day now.
I know it sounds weird, but I was literally so overwhelmed by this song I left right after. I left with like 1/3 of the show left to go, and I was on the 3rd row! Kinda kicking myself now, I can't fully explain why...I do remember being just stunned, idk, goosebumps, tears, shaking? Maybe all of those. I think primarily I just wanted that to be the finale, the last impression I had of that show. In that sense it was totally worth it.
This is the kind of level I want to reach with my music, maybe not so much to the point of making the audience need to stop listening or leave because it's too overwhelming, I don't want to generate existential crises or something worse, but to be emotionally impacting. Anyway, I hope you didn't pass it or something from what you say. No doubt Pneuma would be the perfect ending in my opinion, someday I'll see them live, I hope so.
This by far , has been the best video/audio clip I have ever seen. Nevermind it's TooL, what a bang up job . Mahalo Nui Loa. I have been to many a TooL show back in the nineteen hundreds. I will never again see this amazing band again as I live on the Big Island of Hawaii, I thank you soooooo much for this, I can jam vicariously! Seriously though, thank you for sharing this, I'm looking for more right now. You really put the view and the vibe overall into a package I really appreciate. Thanks so much. You helped put me right there! Fucking amazing!
This is a gift of near biblical proportion. 👁️🙏🏼 Thank You Tony. You’re my hero, sir & I only discovered the channel 3 hours ago. Thank you New Jersey for earning this…. I may or may not return to the comments like that one time the frontman disappeared & then reappeared when it was appropriate.
What else can or do you expect from the most creative band to ever exist. The mark they weave is of it's own fabric. Yet it blankets us keeps us inspired and warm. Thank you humans????? By lending us your perfection in hopes we can grasp the inner message for us to regain humidity..I live ,and LOVE you all...thank you 46 & 2/3
Had tickets but sadly couldn't make this show. Absolutely phenomenal performance. Also, love that there are Canadian guys commenting at the end of the song, too.
My son’s first Tool show. Went because my older son had a gig. He (the younger son) wasn’t a fan but went so the ticket wouldn’t be wasted. He’s bow a fan and went with us to a show on this current leg.
The problem with releasing an official dvd or blu ray is it will never, ever come close to being there. Tool needs to be experienced live. As much as I would love for them to put out an official live release, there’s a part of me that doesn’t want them to. I’ve been going to Tool shows for 22 years now. I prefer them live to be honest. Also I think the band wants you to be present and in the moment. Never say never but I don’t see it happening.
This is one the songs that’s been made I always thought it can’t be done live… ..I was wrong when I saw them in Stockholm a few weeks ago Still knee weak…
Saw them live at Paris France, it was the second time i saw em live and it was awasome, far above all what i expected, but it was forbiden to film during the show; i still did but i was covering the screen/light of my phone which i used to register the performance; so it wouldn't annoy anyone and also wouldn't be noticed so i wouldn't get into any trouble, so the footage i have is horrible in visualy, but the sound is ok, but yours is great, i'll dig the MV88 condenser mic on my side because i tend to do many concert and you got me interested here earing how good your footage sound while most of the content on my YT channel is live concert vidéo and my main concern is sound, cause most times it's small gigs where i can capture video without troubles, but the sound quality you'v got with this thing... It makes me envyous, kinda jealous; so... Thx for the discovery and keep capturing live footage like this, it's gorgeous!
This song represents a high watermark in my life. Ever since I saw them In the front row in 2019 it’s been down hill. I need to see them on their new album in the front row
