What a song. Seemingly confident but never assume what you never truly knew and/or know. Just some good advice I once heard from a wise ‘so called friend’.
😢 this damn fine song... Hits so differently in my 30s.. Maynard is viscerally singing about the former abuse he suffered from his ex.. I was abused by my ex fiancee .. its never heralded in the world that men legitimately fear for themselves because woman on man violence is under appreciated..
Fr man soon as I got my hands on one of them tablets I made sure I bought the whole lateralus album and made my time there more bearable. Was my only way to keep sane .
Oh yeah fellas? How was the prison sex where they had y'all sent to? Catching or pitching? It's all over with now anyway... Think you're going to be just fine. J/K.
Thank you for everything tool it's because of you I made it through 30 years without ending it early. Last night in LA was just as good as 20 years ago at the Oakland coliseum if not better. I will follow you anywhere
Still one of my favorite Tool songs. Of course my favorite depends on my mood. Love the vulnerability and savagery together in one song. Classic Tool combo.
Goosebumps on top of goosebumps and oh my gosh what a brilliant piece of music. Elite musicians. Thankyou very much for making me and my friends feel real and awesome when I/we hear your style of music that has a hold of me and my whole soul. Thankyou Tool. 🏆🙏👌✌️
Hi, I see you put this up on the 15 of feb. I went to the Perth show on the 14TH I was a huge fan before going and an even bigger fan after. I have listened and have found myself entangled in tool lyrics. At the age of 46 & 2 now I find myself living to a new dynamic. I am calmer more focused and nothing can rattle me. so thank you TOOL and thank you TooLArmY for a great lyrics vid. make sure you listen and feel the message.
This one's interesting but not good compared to the album version. I think a lot of these alternative versions of their songs are done strictly to save Maynard's voice so he can make it through a full set without completely losing his voice. Try singing a full tool album in full voice and still being able to talk about it.
Agreed. Probably not an acceptable answer but it's TOOL. It shouldn't be "normal" or easy. If one comes to this video and song without knowing most of the lyrics... You're gonna have a bad time! lol
I resreved this back in 99 or when e er it came out at Strawberries. Salival. Me and Dooran blas4ed this shit on my 5th Ward Kenwood system when it came out .
