Tool Time: Grating Fresh Nutmeg 

Anne Cori, of Kitchen Conservatory, grates fresh nutmeg with a nutmeg grinder and a Microplane great grater! She prefers the Microplane grater for a finer, consistent grate. Using fresh nutmeg is always better than pre-ground powdered nutmeg, and is more potent.
