Increíble hermano, muy agradecido de poder escuchar este cover jajajaja como has conseguido el tono de la guitarra en la primer parte? Desde el primer día que escuche triad me voló la cabeza ese sonido
Hi I've see you got a Mesaboogie Head (and you were very close to tool sound). I am curious to read your opinion now that you have a Diezel Vh, what you think in terms of sound and versatility. Thanks
Hello, in my opinion the Mesa is more fizzy amd scooped sounding, the Diezel is more mid focused like a Marshall with a tighter bottom end comoared to the Mesa. For the Mesa recordings i ran a tube screamer at the front to tighten the bottom end and rolled back the gain a bit to get the Tool sound. The Diezel was much easier to set up since its what Adam Jones uses anyway. I do love both amps as much as each other, but the Diezel does have that flawless tone and is easier to dial in
Thanks! I love them both, I've used the rectifier for years and my ears are trained to that boosted red channel. The vh2 is a wild animal, has real tight bottom end, more mids and more gain, I don't even need to boost it and it really cuts through the mix which is why I prefer to use it live especially
@@firststep7750 I believe it can, it doesnt have the fizzy high end like the recto and is much more fuller and punchier sounding with an aggressive tone. To me it sounds like a mesa with the marshall bite
@@LucasPestkowski Thanks for the reply. The "Mesa with a Marshall bite" is the combination I was wanting. One way to experience this though...gotta buy one:). Killer playing by the way.
The settings depend on the cab you use, i find the Mesa cab to be dark and I like a bright sound so i have the treble and presence cranked almost to max (at lower volumes, with the vh2 it opens up more when you crank it loud). You can just set it up the way you like it and then post EQ the track like I did
