I love the VC 56 with blue dial. It is a great move for high end casual/dressy. Their version of a Datejust is simply a winner to me.

I love shopping at Mr. Porter especially because they already factor in the import duties of the country of destination so when the item arrives, it just breezes through customs and that's a big deal if you live in the PH.

That Vacheron Fiftysix is goddamn beautiful.

I have the VC FiftySix self winding with the silver dial and bought the bracelet in the boutique. It’s a lovely bracelet with butterfly clasp and no tool microadjust on both sides. And with the silver dial, that watch is such a strap monster. I love it.

I tried on the Santos Dumont 2 weeks ago when I picked up my Tudor BB36 Blue, just a beautiful piece with JLC movement.

I also like these style of videos, its a nice change every so often... you should do more of the interview videos

That Cartier is stunning. I think I actually prefer it to the regular Santos. Unfortunately, I'd struggle to get it matching with my "derelicte" aesthetic.

Ineresting take on " dress watches" in this day and age.I know they were very much in a gentlemans attire back in their day but surprised if they make a full comeback?We live a much more casual lifestyle now whereby a " sports" watch fits all scenes.

Most of the time, I go to a usual local jewelry or watch ’seller’ to try on a specific timepiece I’ve been doing some research on before buying. Turns out, they usually learn from me. 🙄 They have so many references and don’t actually know every details on each. At least, I was able to try the watch on my wrist. 😅 It’s a real pleasure to talk with someone who knows what is talking about and to go deep in specific details. 👍 In any case, you learn more from an actual watchmaker. 🤓

Hi Adrian - could you do some new watch buying guide videos? I know you've done a few before but it would be really good to see more of them, things like: - Where brands sit on the watch heirarchy? - A new "best watches under 500"? - Best between 500-1000? - Best between 1000-2000? - How much for a fairly good quality, entry level swiss-made watch? - Buying a used watch gets you more for your money, how old should we go? - Do Tissot make good quality watches that'll last or are they not considered to be that great anymore? I'm into watches but I'm relatively new and have no idea when it comes to buying a watch. I've been looking at Oris (my budget is 500-1000) but have no idea whether a £1000 Oris is a solid timepiece or not. I'm also interested in understanding what sort of longevity a £1000 mechanical watch provides. Am I looking at it lasting 5-10 years, or 20+? I understand these questions might not neccessarily appeal to your core audience but thought I'd give you my two-cents. Great content, keep up the good work :)

That VC 56 proves to show what you can get with the money of a mass produced Submariner or Date Just.. people need to educate themselves on whats out there and how much watch they can get for their money.

I really really love the santosss, I seriously have to start saving for one 😍 it's just stunning, VC would look great on a leather for me, don't know why but I'm not much into these very elaborate bracelets, probably the one I really enjoy is the Rolex jubilee. The IWC's seem like lovely watches as well, they just don't suit me as well.

As we grow older and wiser we appreciate more a dressier watch. It’s way easier to wear a dress watch with jeans and t shirt, than a diver with a suit, which looks hideous. That’s how versatile a dress watch is.

Hi Adrian, that was an interesting video, the IWC watches looked very nice. I really want a Marathon - Jumbo Diver/Pilot's Automatic Chronograph (CSAR) - 46mm, but its £4,000 and has Tritium illumination. As I do a lot of work at night. While looking at affordable watches I found a UK brand I had never heard of called NITE. Who use Tritium illumination. Would you do a video on them? They have a 10 year Ronda quartz movement I dont know what the difference is really to a normal quartz movement? Cheers
