Great video, Just got hired on as a Maintenance Tech and have been trying to figure out what tools to make sure I have a good start. I think I have found my new favorite RU-vid channel. Keep up the great work and info.
As someone who wants to get into the industrial maintenance field and with no one yet to give me an idea of what goes on, what tools do a company provide?
It's a 50/50 shot. Lots of companies don't supply basic tools. Ones like Amazon do and are great for beginners so it's not such a $$ investment at the beginning
You will learn over time. It will take a while to aquire all the tools senior techs have. When you get in the field if you have to borrow a tool 3 or more times buy it yourself.
Never made anything close to those in a factory but I'd assume they got small pick and place robots or cobots. They hiring as a maintenance tech or they need a dedicated electrician
@@IndustrialMaintenance kinda both from what ive been told that its electro mechanical. Ive troubleshoot some pneumatics and i under stand hydraulics at least the basics of it but for the most part im a heavy industrial electrician so controls to 138kv are what ive worked with
@@burnedupsparkytipsandrevie9597 i think u wont have any issues then, its mostly gonna be hmi panel work probably or working on there presses if thats what they got. one of my other videos has my EDC toolbox in it and that thing answered 95% of the shit for 5 years at 3 different factories. it would probably answer most at my new one but my roll has changed so i just carry a backpack most of the time
