Very useful tool saves putting on time on counts on your expensive bench DSO, I'm going to buy one for that reason alone, for the low power jobs.

I think the auto-range function is susceptible to aliasing at higher frequencies. I would think that in many cases you will get better results by manually selecting the time base rather than relying on the Auto. Other than that it seems like a pretty good instrument and a great value for folks with simple needs like myself.

Hi, Richard 🤗🤗, good small tool for beginners and work in the field service. Especially it has no problems with groundet circuits, (dont touch the oszilloscope 👀ground💥) But, the read out times are to long in the automatic mode.

I have the ZEEWEII DSO1511G which is 100MHz. I agree the unit you showed today is more intuitive, not needing to know special keypress routines. I would definitely buy this one instead, even though the price is a little higher. I might miss the ability to connect the video output to a monitor using composite outputs and a HDMI converter (purchased separately). I just don't like having to carry around a cheat sheet for button keypresses with the unit I have now.

If you jumped into your time machine and set the dial to 1973 when tv service electricians still made house calls I think this scope would have been magical compared to the scopes they commonly used back then. House calls made sense given how big and heavy a console tv was in those days. Just what kind of gadget did a typical homeowner have that would ever need a scope that could read higher than this in the early 70's?

Does it have an "LF REJECT" in the trigger menu? Might help. One more thing worth mentioning about safety when using a "hot ground", DO NOT have the USB cable connected..

Let's say you connect it to check diodes on PCB to read the specs (MHz) would you remove the diodes and replace, based on that waveform and signals such as ripple and noise? (You get what you pay for). ➕💫➖

Looks ok but I can't pay for something that says "120MHz bandwidth" and measures at 50MHz, so for me not so good. The trigger buttons need to be marked as you spent most of the video with it at zero, the red arrow at the side! at one point your wave was swinging wildly around zero (0v) and all it needed was a bit of trigger. Regarding the use of the auto button, I think it's quite handy but substitute for setting the volts/div and the time base manually it would have been a lot quicker and you new where you needed to be. As for the bandwidth why not start at the specified limit and work from there as opposed from starting at 7 MHZ and the 20 then 50 and so on because at 60 pounds its not going to have 120MHZ band width, more fun to take bets as you wind it down and see when it starts to make sense LOL ! Anyhow thats the machine not you as it takes a brave man to review in real time....cheers.

Probably I have a bad habit of just trying things when I review them and not reading the manual. I just like to see if they are intuitive. Mostly the trigger worked OK anyway but it was very easy to set once Iooked in the little book

Well you know me, I review things honestly as I find them. This has some issues but for a low cost tool (currently on offer at €69) it still has my thumbs up. Other opinions may vary and that's always OK here 😉
