I'd say this is more reasonable for C$220 depending on how good the meter is: TOOLTOP ET13S 192*192 Thermal Imager 9999 Counts Multimeter 2in1 Thermal Camera You need more resolution than 32x32 to check for overheated components on circuit boards. Interesting combo.
Basic IR-camera with major flaws. By comparison: Maybe is the "T7" (from the same manufacturer, working together with an Android- smartphone) a significant better choice. Same pricepoint, higher resolution, storage of pictures in the phone, wider temperature range (-15°C~600°C), visible colour graded temperature scale and automatic hottest spot detection.
@rcarioca Honestly, I usually don't offload if I'm doing Thermal work for myself. I take my readings and see if there's a problem or issue that needs to be addressed. It's not meant for professionals but that's fairly obvious 😊
According to the manual, "can be connected with a computer to delete images on the computer." If this is true, wouldn't you be able to download them too? Says it has 16MB storage capacity. Wonder if it deletes the oldest, or gives a memory full error.
Didn't work..device doesn't appear as a DCIM or anything. Manual it shipped with states to factory reset to del images. Might be various incarnations or FW revisions. I'm awaiting on feedback from the vendor .
A good step above a infrared thermometer for not much more. 🌡+ 📺+ 📷 but no 🎥. Hook the unit up to your PC with a micro USB data cable and see if you can browse the device memory.
Yup..tried to no avail. Biggest faux pax was having to factory restore to del the images saved on the camera.Seems drastic approach to a very basic task.
