Yeah, the trading cards. Every time there's a Penny Pincher in those cards, it has claw hands. It was probably intended for them to indeed, be crabs. My question is though, why didn't Disney design a separate hand model for Penny Pinchers so they could match the card better?
During the development of the game, the designers of the game had to program a file system that made cogs look unique while not putting a lot of files in the game. This was due to the small size of files computers usually had in them at the time. This is why we have 3 types of suit bodies and some cogs re-use the same face with a different texture.
sebastian Ohhh, okay. And true, making each Cog like the trading card probably would've made it more laggy and difficult to run back then. But then, another question, some Cogs are different colors on the cards, like the Name Dropper is green while in-game, it's purple. Making the Name Dropper green wouldn't have made the file size bigger or harder to run, so what's up with this color pallete switch?
You got some descriptions wrong i'm gonna help you with the Toontown Rewritten wiki Sellbots A Glad Hander is a slang term used to describe an overly friendly person. Their friendliness tends to irritate others and is usually used as a way of getting approval. A Mover and Shaker is a powerful person who initiates events and influences people. Two-Face is a term used to describe a person that has multiple personalities; for example, they may act differently depending on the setting, or hide their opinion about something (e.g. In reality they dislike someone, but pretend to like them). The definition is correspondent to Back Stabber. The term Mingler defines someone who attempts to socialize with several groups of people, usually in order to gain a higher status. The term "Mr. Hollywood" defines an important person who persuades people into buying a product. Cashbots A Tightwad is a person who doesn't like to spend or lend money. A Number Cruncher is someone able to perform complex and lengthy calculations. A Money Bags is a very wealthy or extravagant person A Robber Baron is an unscrupulous plutocrat, especially an American capitalist who acquired a fortune in the late nineteenth century by immoral means. Lawbots A Spin Doctor is a term for someone who makes bad things sound good, and/or good things sound bad. Bossbots A Downsizer is someone who reduces company employee numbers, or removes assets, often in order to comply with corporate budget cuts. A "Big Cheese" is a slang word meaning someone who is an important, influential person. In other words, he or she is the "big boss".

OMG I WAS FREAKING OUT I WAS LIKE NO THOSE ARE LIPS. I have been playing toontown for roughly ten years it would take a blow to my toontown knowledge if it's mouth was actually open
None of the cogs really looked female to me so I was surprised that some people thought that a few were actually women. The Minglers just reminded me of Him from Powerpuff Girls who has that cartoonish androgynous vibe but is still a man. That said, one of the portraits on the walls at the CEO battle has a very feminine cog wearing glasses while on the phone. Apparently that was the same picture for the official Name Dropper trading card so people were right on thinking that they were women. The suits and masculine bodies just really didn’t make me see it lol.
its just the dudes opinion, this stuff has nothing supporting it. A lot of this in the video is untrue, the dudes just saying what he thinks probably to look smart
Penny pincher actually has more stereotypical robotic hands. In literally all of the artwork for the game, this is shown to be true. However, probably to make it easier to create, in game they just have red hands.
I'm so confused ok Are name droppers female or male Same with number crunchers it sorta looks like they have a bun in their hair and like their ears are pierced which doesn't really mean anything but still lol
I've always found it weird that the right eye of the Mingler (its right, not our right) is messed up. Is this intentional, to show the dark intentions of the average Mingler? Or is it just a mistake? I hope it's the former.
I find it appropriate that the Big Cheese is the highest Cog on the Bossbot ladder...and that the Bottom Feeder is the lowest Cog on the Lawbot ladder.
im gonna say that penny pinchers are red cause thats their color copper-red. bwaha btw my fave cog is a flunky: why is because my dad looks exactly like one with fat body, glasses, light pink skin and bald...
I knew the names were buisness terms, but not the designs. I thought they were just more or less looking like the buisness. Like the bottom feeder is in a suit with a tie, is short, and mildly fat. Obviously a weird form of someone in law.
