Seeing the banished and prometheans having a duke out feels oddly satisfying And it's actually cool to see prometheans again even if there controversal

Now imagine if it was a full blown war with Banshees and Phaetons duking it out in the sky, sword Elites fighting Knight Battle Wagons, Jackal Snipers fighting Sniper Crawlers and Soldiers, Skirmishers running circles around Soldiers with maybe duel Plasma Pistols or Needlers, Hunters duking it out with Knights, Fuel Rod Grunts and Brutes shooting at Knights with Incineration Cannons. This is so good I want more!

Ah, so good! I think the prometheans are really underrated and this video proves that! Seeing their unique behaviors animated like this was amazing! Not to mention, your choice of factions is (again) brilliant and rare to see. Oh and that shot of the promethean soldier looking at the banished convoy from a hill? The way you did that, with all the mini builds to create a forced perspective? Sick! Also, the way you characterized the brutes was very unique (especially with the last scene). Them looking out for each other like that was a pleasure to see, even if they'd happily eat me if they ever got the chance 😅

As brutes being my favourite halo species you have executed this work very well. I liked the ending where they bury one of their own.

Amazing work as always. This is amazing and i love the way you interpreted the brutes, truly feeling as if they are pack brothers. And i love the Gears of War stuff you had in there, like the wretch scream at 1:03, and the brute executing that promethean with the rip the arm off and beat them to death with it execution from Gears 3, truly amazing.

Dude! This was SICK! I love how you show the Covenant/Bansihed in different colors! You always find a way to make them seem more lore accurate! Keep it up! Loved how you showed that the brutes aren’t entirely savages, that they look out for eachother, and honor eachother! Awesome work over all! I’d give it a 9.5/10 but only because there were a few things in it that I didn’t really understand. But nonetheless you worked your butt off and your final result was worth it!

Spectacular! A whole 5 minute focused on brutes and PROMETHEAN, it was refreshing to see some underused figures and factions. The smoothness of the animation, great background, and on top of that the music really felt halo yet different. I loved all the practical effect you used, it was fitting for the prometheans. Also that voice lines for the promethean soldiers fitted quite well, I liked it. Last but not least the custom brutes… bruh they look so GOOD!!! Another amazing work sassy crocodile!

One of the the best animation’s I’ve scene even. Loved how, like desolation, you had the covenant / banished fighting something not the UNSC. That really sets this video apart from almost every other one on RU-vid. The custom brute figs were amazing and all effects were well done. Just have one things to say….. keep it up. This is why ur the #1 in my opinion.

That was beautifully executed. I really like the orange paperlike flames for the promeatheans, it fits with the style perfectly and also how you used a lot of actual brute weapons. It sucks that we dodnt get to see the mauler, spiker, amd especially bruteshot in infinite. Overall an amazing animation snd probably your best work so far.😊

I like that the captain was almost hesitant to use the hammer, knowing it was his or a chieftains, but knew he had to save his pack.

Amazing animation, the Brutes look great and it was cool to see more Prometheans in an animation, its been a while since I've seen a proper promethean firefight in stopmotion. This was a treat to watch

Amazing! This is the most original stop motion idea I've seen in a while! The figures also felt so alive and the fire effects were really creatively made, plus, I really liked the fact that the one spike grenade didn't kill the brute immediately, he just had the spike in his arm. Great detail!

This video was awesome! I loved that this vid just focused on Prometheans and brutes and all the practical stuff was great too!

I love how accurate all this is to the actual gameplay. I also love the use of equipment, and that you actually got me to route for the brutes

This is a really good stop motion. It's also interesting to see two halo factions you dont normally see fighting each other facing off. Its usually UNSC vs covenant or the flood but this is definitely different in a good way.

That was LEGENDARY! You implemented so many features from the games, and did them justice. The way you used pieces for muzzle flashes and glows is on another level of clever. And it's also not often that we see Prometheans in MEGA stopmotions. This is awesome, man! Well done.

Fantastic stuff! I love that disintegration effect at 0:58 and that subtle portal effect at 3:18! The effects were all beautiful, and your choices of what to show and what to hide were very wise. Also I love the skiff minibuild, that community post is how I found the video

very clean. tho we never saw what happened that soldier with the binary rifle. I'd be pretty scared to take over driving the skiff knowing he's still out there =x

As always I love your practical approach to everything. Stunning animation. The music score being crafted specifically for this did help enhance the experience as well. Edit: in terms of not masking out the supports for flying objects it makes sense given the complexity and changing lighting of shots. A good method to replace that in these scenarios is filming it on a solid colour and compositing the footage to match as closely as possible.

Sassy you've done it, my God was that impressive. You told me you were worried about the portrayal of the Prometheans...you have nothing to worry about. That shit was spot on, although I feel the soldiers need the slightest amount more character since they are semi-sentient. The effects were fucking awesome and I'd like to know how you do this. Please some day make a behind the scenes because I could really use your guidance. The audio was nice, the set was awesome, and the custom brutes were an awesome touch. Prometheans are extremely underrated and the fact you took the time to actually animate them brings me great joy. Especially the idea of the banished vs Prometheans, I have been wanting to do that and incorporating it into my story so it's really good to have a reference. Good job dude.

Amazing work! I love how you always center your animations around factions most other animators don’t. I don’t think I’ve seen another animation that frames brutes as the protagonists like.. ever. :) your set builds and animation is phenomenal as well. If I had to offer some advice it would be that sometimes the combat comes off as a bit slow. But in the end that’s my opinion, and not inherently a fault of the animation. Keep doing your thing sassy! I love your work.
