22 years old, I'm embarrassed to even be typing this. I have major tooth decay on 6 of my teeth. never went to the dentist often as a kid/teen. now that I'm in my twenties I have honestly lost hope for my teeth. I want to get them fixed so bad but I have no insurance and my financial situation is not good whatsoever. My dad died when I turned 18 and my mom left when I was 8 so I have nobody to turn to for help. I'm honestly terrified, I REALLY don't want to lose my teeth especially at this age. I don't know what to do. I pray for the day I can confidently smile but I'm at the point where I feel like I won't ever see that day. seeing a video like this really gives me hope. Maybe a miracle will happen someday but for now all I can do is keep my head up and keep a hopeful spirit.
I'm sorry who ever was caring for u had assistance from the government. Every one does that's y ppl get tax back end of year who claimed u. If none did then u need to hire a lawyer get yr 13x$750, 13x$1000.
Dude don't be embarrassed I'm in the same position at 25 Two of mine already cracked with holes and I have to fill them with temporary filling every few weeks because I can't afford an actual dentist Do you live in the US too? It's so fucking terrible here when it comes to shit like that
You ain’t the only one, so many out here with issues that take far more money to correct then any of us have, human health care shouldn’t be so costly!!
Sorry to hear that. If you live in the U.S. you should go to job corps get a trade and i had few of my teeth taken care of when i was there. Cavities and a root canals had to have insurance thats later down in life. Take care of your body.
At 35 years old I had my first root canal. The main reason for it was I would rarely floss. So for everyone reading this comment don’t forget to floss daily or at least every other day brush twice a day using a soft bristle and brush your gums too.
@@LaughOutLouie88 ok caveman , let me shine a light of wisdom on your ignorance. Tooth decay is primarily caused by the acid produced by anaerobic fermentation of sugars in your mouth.
Man, how I would have loved this dental treatment as a kid, growing up I didn't have the best parent, I say parent because my mom's ex is not my biological father, he wasn't present, and I grew up not really feeling obligated, knowing, or concerned enough to take care of myself. I formed two major cavities on each of the same side on the bottom half of my jaw in the back, it was so painful, as a kid who was terrified of the thought of a dentist, I would lay in bed sometimes even screaming or begging my mom to take me to a dentist, half my face would swell up in pain, sometimes on both sides, and I'd even feel the pain go up to my ears at some point. Years of pain after awhile I stopped feeling it, some points I would at it would hurt, especially accidentally chomping down on it, those two teeth began to fracture and break off later on, it didn't hurt but, it did hurt my tongue at some point cutting it a bit due to the sharpness until I adjusted too it, it took until I was 16 years old to get those teeth removed. The nerves have both died in each tooth, they where both bad cavities and had to get pulled out, the first tooth removal hurt afterwards due to soreness and what not, but not too bad, and the second after that hurt like hell, the first time, they didn't numb me good enough, so I felt it a bit and they had too go in and numb me more, then after the numbing wore off after surgery I felt immense pain, they didn't even prescribe me with antibodies or anything after, so I had to take a high dose pain killer, and having too clamp down on the goz afterwards too prevent bleeding and have it heal certainly hurt like hell, but I did it anyway, I couldn't eat right or talk really much, and after a few days or so. Then later on it healed, the nerves had died in both my teeth and one of the cavities ended up being just below the gum line, but now that they're both gone and healed I'm more happier than ever that they're gone. Apparently according to my dentist I've got a small cavity in the back on the upper part of my jaw, but it's never been a problem for me luckily, and a small cavity on the bottom formed in the back of my lower jaw, haven't felt any pain with the both of them yet so that's good. They will be filled and after that I may have to get braces for slight gaps in-between my teeth, wisdom teeth removal, and things for the two missing teeth in my jaw to fill the spaces, I am now 17 and hoping I get to visit soon, please wish me a speedy recovery, thank you.
Unfortunately fillings are prone to falling out! Just like crowns and caps CAN fall off. Usually you just let your dentist know and they'll take care of things.
I lost four of my front teeth on 5th grade and have to wear false teeth early on. I have very neglectful parents and the moment i gained conciousness about the importance of dental hygiene it was already too late as most of my teeth are rotten. I have not smile genuinely in my entire life and it cost me to have very low self esteem. Now that I have kids I swear that I want them to smile confidently and laugh their heart out. I am quite particular with their dental hygiene. Even if we don't have a lot of money I make sure to take them to the dentist for check ups and cleaning and I am happy that they have really good teeth and they can smile without worry.
I just got done yesterday and Dentist did an immaculate job. I’m so grateful, granted it cost me about three grand after insurance but it was so worth it.
Soy estomatologa cubana y mi gran sueño seria trabajar en una clinica donde pudiera hacer estos tratamientos maravillosos porq aqui por desgracia no tenemos esa oportunidad, nuestros pocos productos ya estan obsoletos es triste
My molar cracked and fell, it was a big chunk but I had a filling that saved me from a nerve treatment. I’m in the process of getting a cap and this looks totally fun 😭😭😭
I,am 27yrs old but since i loose my 4 teeth and another 3 have cracked i have no smile or laugh in front of people but need to know how much to refill.
Sir I have severely decayed middle part of my wisdom tooth. I went to the dentist because I have extreme toothache & when I finally got there, the dentist took out a whole lot of food residues inside the tooth both ancient & new. They also grind it & everything but I don't have root canal. Why is this?
@@DrAbdomFora What can say about a root canal having a negative or rather a worsened tooth condition my sister had a root canal however, it left her regretting having accepted to do the procedure.
