Trauma story. At age 11 or so. A neighbor boy during a childhood game pulled out my mandibular right canine. My Mom did not rinse it. Wrapped in a moist towel took me to the dentist. Within 30 minutes after the event the dentist placed the tooth in the socket where 57 years later it remains in good periodontal health. Never forgot the event. In fact that event inspired me to become a Dental Hygienist. I began on a mission to educate and help people save their teeth. Just an antidotal story. Smile Dr, Ryan. You are truly wonderful. You are correct that for the board exam, they use V=luxation and VI=avulsion.
