Highlights of Dulwich's win over Tooting & Mitcham United in the Bostik League Premier Division. South London remained pink and blue after the Hamlet left Imperial Fields with all three points on Boxing Day. The writing was on the wall for the hosts as early as the eighth minute, as Nathan Green was given space to burst into the penalty area and smash a shot past Matte Pierson. Preston Edwards made a smart save to deny Danny Bassett, and thirty seconds later, Dulwich went 2-0 up, Reise Allassani profiting from a sloppy back pass from Chace O'Neill to double the lead. Edwards prevented Bassett again, and four minutes before half-time, Dulwich killed off the game, Nyren Clunis poking his 10th goal of the season home from a yard out. Both sides created chances in the second half, but it seemed there would be no further goals until Tooting pulled one back with 16 minutes remaining, as Sam Flegg nodded home a corner just minutes after Marc Weatherstone had produced one of the comedy moments of the season as he almost sliced a clearance into his own net. However, there was no comeback, and the Hamlet ensured they would travel to league leaders Billericay Town on December 30th level on points.
