Human beings have a tendency to take others for granted. If a wife is good, she is being taken granted by her in-laws. If the in-laws are good, then the daughter in law takes them for granted. The same goes for husband and wife. Women were abused a lot in their in-laws families. The parents of girls back then just asked them to put up with abuse. Now they don't. It's pretty simple.

Genuine advice, even if you're someone who's liberal and don't care 100 men, maybe more went through her before, never marry/date someone who wasn't 2-3 years off from her last relation. Money can be a reason for divorces, but now that many women are financially independent they fulfill their materialistic desires by themselves and also contribute to household expenses. The problem that I am seeing among my female peers is that we are physically, mentally and emotionally drained out by trying to balance between career, motherhood and household chores. I think if there is great rapport between husband and wife, there is love and respect between them, then no saas, no money matters. Understanding, love and respect is a must between partners. And this comes with open communication. Lack of communication related to expectations, real life goals, mutual emotional and physical needs leads to all problems. No female would want to ruin her relation because of saas or money and no male would like to divorce his partner for petty matters. It is the problem between the partners which gets reflected in other areas and leads to complications.

Own profession (PSBank) looks toxic and ham khud hi bahar nikalne ke raste khoj rahe (but can't say about future) but then dusre profession ka vyakti problems samajh nahi paega. But then thode time bad to job leave hi karni h 😬 so is it better to choose someone jiske sath thinking zada match kare goals and cheezo ko lekar. Sath me dono kuch kar sake but then ye sare thoughts khyali pulao to nahi?! Second: Isn't a delayed marriage in today's complex world better than divorces? My mother pesters for marriage but somewhere understands that you cannot study or do things with that vigour or focus after marriage. Priorities have to be changed and it is a big task. Shadi se pahle jo kar liya kar liya. And that will become your base. Looks anyway doesn't matter beyond a point and life has to be spent with a man and not a boy. Delayed marriage me atleast both persons are more matured and a better version of themselves. Before marrying, they are better able to gauge and discuss the real things that can matter. It may be less of teenage love and excitement etc but atleast more understanding, more practical and less eronneous. Bachhe 4 5 sal bad paida ho gae to zada issue nai h, atleast they will have better traits and better atmosphere to live in. Itna antar ho jaega ki friends ke bacche 7 sal ke hain and hamare 2 sal ke. This is flawed system and set wrong narrative right from the start till the end... Iske karan iski kimat sabko chukani padti hai, visheshkar husband wife ko.... So going forward, man who is not a boy anymore and woman who is not a girl anymore should jointly take control of their lives and furthermore send marriage invitation to whosoever they want to including their respective parents and relatives... Parents should not be sending marriage invitation of their kids to relatives and friends anymore.... This single thing can change whole game altogether.... No more farmaeshi programs from either side leading to conflicts and ultimate collapse.

Oh pls, extramarital affair is definitely NOT only 5% of marriages. It's way more than that. At least above 50% from what I have observed. Most of them don't know (as you know someone is a cheater only when he/ she gets caught). And the rest know about their spouse's affair, but are not bold enough to end the marriage because of kids or other reasons.
Rightly said about first reason . Mother in law takes it for granted that if her husbad does she will live with her son . But when the daughter in law's father dies then her mother cannot live with the daughter . Why such discrimination ? And i have seen the brothers of the husband accusing the mother of such daughter in law as to why is the mother living in the house . In fact when their iwn mother went to stay with them they themselves could not adjust even for a year .
You are correct fr the 1st reason. But divorce is not only 50% fr money,its more than 75%. Now everyone wants money to enjoy life. Though both partners are good earners still they do not want to take responsibility of their parents or younger siblings 😢

An acquaintance was once going through a divorce when well-wishers suggested the same thing… to have parents live in a separate house nearby. The man’s response was: If I give in to this “demand” now, there will be more demands from his wife that he will need to give into in the future. He does not want to compromise in that way, so he wants to get divorced.
@@manikyum his mother she interfered alot between us n finance problem he was at a good position job but his family was poor so all his salary went for them n we were left with nothing in hand also I was a non working women then so the problems aggravated

Are you okay if your wife does the same with you? Hide things which she likes to do but you particularly dislike her doing so? Think and answer this question for yourself.
One more thing to add You always say stay away from parents when it is your marriage is new. You always give example of families where both parents are alive. What to do if only one parent is there like only mother or only father and son is the only son. We cant leave mother alone.
I like your thought process very much and appreciate also I want to add sonething on *parents of the boy should be looked after by the daughter in law*. Here we forget that the parents of the girl are also living alone 100% if they have only one/many daughter/s. At that time nobody cares or thinks of them. I always think that borh set of parents should live some what at a distance from the first day of marriage. Let the couple adjust themselves. If they ask for advice then only both inlaws sets should give advice and not interfere in any other case. The parents of a boy should be ready now to live away from their son like the daughter's parents. So that many issues would not even arise. (4rh reason according to you). If you want your son / daughter's happiness don't meddle into their affairs at all. Also there are some other things which I have followed but can't say here because of lack of space.

But when men think their wife and all she earns is his property, problem starts. He will not look after 2 sets of parents. So surely as working she will take care of her parents as a duty.That should be accepted.

acc to me : on men's side: 1) women's education & 2)working of women - which make them aggressive, argumentative (and hence less adaptable to husband's family). education and working of women makes them less feminine ( and what men desires in women - soft spoken, peaceful, good food and taking care of home, taking care of children, and parents). this creates conflict in home. because men after certain period realise sex has become boring, wife is argumentative, always complaining and disrespecting them (and they are not getting what marriage should provide). On women's side 1) financial independence of women makes its easy for them to take decision of divorce becoz marriage after certain period becomes boring. conflicts, fights are routine. creates discord in professional life as well. 2) retiring from job isn't an option (and become dependent on husband) , and no guarantee that everything will be all right. so, women decides to divorce which will (at least) give them complete freedom - freedom from conflict, and also freedom to sexual adventure, etc.
Money is an important issue in marriage but not always, for example, we are financially quite well off but my MIL still wanted us to live with her forever...coz she was afraid of losing control over her son. Its about control of power...i feel saas bahu or joint family is the biggest reason for divorce.

sir u didn't put much emphasis on saas-bahu point. I see wife struggling to cope up with her in laws exploitation for years and expects her husband to save her which is absolutely right. otherwise who else she can go to in that family assuming her own parents no more want to entertain her and see her as a burden. That helpless woman is living for years with that grieving heart of her where her husband is still not available emotionally and rather tries to prove his innocence and provides fake assurance to not let things repeat again. Here husband is the culprit and divorce should happen asap as the kids are suffering mentally and turning into a traumatized soul everyday. There is no future for such a family.

In my view both money and human body are extremely transitory especially in age when diabetes and heart attacks are occuring in 30s and 40s.
