I've got a 58 DDO same. And another just not as strong in the doubling. Just recently found these in a old man on my road had pretty much gave to me being in as gift to another coin enthusiast alike that collected the whole 51 lbs of his collection of coins in all kinds of various types and varieties. from his childhood and just until about a year ago. It's just I keep wondering if he we're aware that he has been carrying riches for the years past who knows how long. The 80s or so. He was very good at researching the collection this I know. Blowing my mind of the things he knew about everything coin.. With great respect I had for him and though now he is off on to another adventure in another dimension.. I may have the 1958 D in Brown color. The date definately has the same lines of separation. Liberty is close to the one shown but it’s not quite dbl on the In God We Trust . It’s so close. What’s it worth in BRN AU -55. ?
Numisman you rock👍 I cherry picked a 44S FS-101 Washington quarter unattributed in a old NGC fatty holder in a 66. I sold it yesterday to a local dealer for a 37D Washington I have at a ms66 and some supplies 2 new dansco albums Lincoln cents and Washington quarter album and 100 bucks cash👍 I won it for 35 on Ebay. I think I did quite well.
Take clear photos, slap them on Ebay or whatever and if they are clear of the variety with die markers it will sell if its raw. Otherwise send them to graders and there's no issue with someone saying it's not this or that.
My Grandfather collected coins and he gave me and my sister coinc from the 50's and 40's. (She got the 40's because shes older) I got the 50's and I have a LOT of them. If I find such a treasure , where do I go to get the BEST monetary value for them so that a coin enthusiast will be able to keep them for posterity sake?

How does a coin have mint marks from 2 different mints? For instance, a D over S mint mark travels from Denver to San Francisco? I don't understand unless the same mint is producing coins for all of the mints?
The mint ran out of obverse dies so they sent the other mints die because they didn't want to make another die to finish production. If that makes sense.

If we agree on the price fine, but if we don't agree we just part away. The value of any coin depends on the grade, condition and desirability. There are other factors too. Thanks

If u have a cooper 43 or a steel 44, ur in the big money.other wise.ddo ddr misc.errors are worth more(at least 20bucks per penny).no errors worth up to 5bucks.
I have a 1958 wheat penny in great condition. I have had it since I was a little girl. My change is very old and I never went through it until now. I only have one of those pennies. And it does have a d on it as well. I hope I can have this looked at by someone I can trust.
Hi i just got into the coin collecting scene . I had a question about this one cent that i found in pocket change one day . Its a penny the size of a nickel meaning the lincoln face is larger and monument is larger also . Do these errors exist ?

I just watched your video on the 1980's Lincoln cent. You said a 1983 copper penny would weigh 3.06 - 3.1 grams. Normal weight on a 1983 should be 2.5 grams. I found one that weighs 2.66 grams, slightly higher than normal. What could it be? Please advise. Thank you so much for your video's and for all the information.
