What makes Peter Laake's story even more nuts is that he was the kid last year that got hit in the chest by the ball in a game vs McDonogh I think, and had to be revived on the pitch by a defibrillator
Interesting choices. They definitely seem headed for stardom. But my tracking of Inside Lacrosse's top picks shows the flashiest prospect at the prep level doesn't always translate to collegiate stardom, and a lower ranked recruit matched with the right coach, school environment, and reasonable development path has the same possibility of being an impactful starter. But that's just my observation over the years. Thanks for the interesting video!
Hey Jake, I’ve been a fan for about 1-2 years now and I have been meaning to tell you how much I appreciate your vids. I am a defensemen and have been looking to up my game. So, could you someday make a video with tips and drills for defensemen like me.
I'm a 2024 aswell. The talent in my class is insane, I've been playing 10+ years and these kids are studs. No doubt in my mind these kids will play Division 1 Lacrosse
@@LaxWeekly Nevermind it is indeed the worst class of all time, according to D1 coaches. Ty Xanders posted an article about it last week. They have almost no 5-stars. Worst class of all time.
good question! tbh the only real way to do that is by getting a coach - feel free to email me at jake@laxweekly.com if you want to learn more! I charge $50/hr
If you can't get a coach - I'd say best bet is get on a good club team outside your area, make a highlight reel, and cold email as many coaches as you can
