I love ADP scents and I have many on this list, but I just sold my 150ml Cedro di Taormina because the performance was awful on my skin, which was a shame because it's beautiful scent. I am surprised you didn't include Colonia Quercia. That's a beautiful scent and has monstrous longevity. Oud is beautiful too!
My husband had the leather one, but he soon got tired of it because he said the perfume was too strong and “salty” on him. So i started using it on myself and... surprisingly on a feminine skin it has all another smell, i can smell the rose first then the citrus fruits and the woods. Only in the end the leather comes out, but in a discrete way which doesn’t actually dominates all the other components. Love it!

You shouldn’t have missed Essenza, apart from that great review, you are right about Bergamot one but same goes for Assoluta there are so many like this, my no. 1 is Leather & no.2 is Essenza.
Great video and great recommendations! This is my advise for those considering Colonia or Colonia Essenza. I have tried both, and the differences a minimum. Colonia Essenza really feels old school, the floral tones are very strong, as strong as the citrus notes, which makes it feel like a fragrance more oriented to women than men. Frankly I would not wear this one, way too floral for a guy, but that is my opinion. I'll give mine to some grandma that may want it. I own other fragrances like Roja Parfums Elysium Cologne Parfum and although it contains floral and fruity notes, it feels manly and not old school. If you are more oriented to manly fragrances, these two are definitely a no, no no.
My favourite house , the one that got me into collecting perfumes. I have 25 bottles from this house 😂 Need just two more to complete the blu & ingredients line but i've put myself on lay away , no more buying for a good while.
Great video and so good to see my favourite house getting some love! Was sad that two of my favourite frags of all time were not included though! Sandalo is my favourite fragrance ever (and I own a LOT 😅) and colonia club is utterly phenomenal (batch dependent unfortunately). Agree with you on Fico though. Doesn't work on my skin either
It's so easy to love/like most these ADP releases. Got Ginepro, Pura and a decant of Essenza. Now, you are making me want to grab Cedro and Intensa Oud as well. Only thing that stopping me from doing it is that I already got a 10-bottle haul this month as bday gift to myself : ). Oh, the newer releases Chinotto and Sandalo (just came out of being a Harrods exclusive) were letdowns for me.
My two favorite fragrances from AdP are Colonia Oud and Leather, which I feel are brilliant fragrances. Oddly, I generally dislike most of AdP's citrus-Mediterranean style perfumes which they are know for... Enjoyed.
I recomend you the Colonia Essenza from EDP, for me is the best fragance in ADP, I live in Mexico and I have a collection from 13 or 14 fragances and this is my favorite ❤️
I bought ADP Colonia. I love the opening but when the lavender comes in, it smell like Glade or Ambi Pur Lavendar spray. It almost smells like Imperial Leather soap. It does smell like a grandma when Sandal Wood comes in; not the grandma at the bus stop, but the grandma who carries a birkin bag.
Update - Cedro, Ginepro and Chinotto were retired from the Blue Mediterranean range. Fico is still great. But I also recommend Colonia Intensa, Colonia Futura and Colonia Pura.
@kevin. Since you mentioned owning Pura Intensa and Futura, I was wondering if I could get your opinion of the three. I'm considering a blind buy of Futura, since I've read comments about it being the most natural refreshing smelling of the Colonia Line. Do you agree with that too? Or would you recommend Pura or Intensa for the Summer instead? 😊
@@oldiesgeek454 colonia is more soapy. Futura is more barbershop fugere, masculine. Pura is more modern and more unisex. Intensa beautiful, stronger and more long lasting. I prefer Pura and Intensa of the 4. But also enjoy wearing Futura. Over time, the soapy character of Colonia original is becoming less appealing to me personally.
Got it yesterday and wore it two days in a row. Unsolicited complements both days. It wears pretty light so people have to be close. Went 5 sprays. Got about 5 hours out of it. I carried a small decant to respray for the evening.
Man I'm so glad I found this video but I see it's 3 years old I hope that you will receive this comment and be able to answer my question. Since you're number one fragrance is Colonia oud intense I'm wondering if you could tell me how close the new Colonia food is to the one that you put at number one in this video. I smelled the intense version one time and said instantly I got to buy this fragrance only to find out it's discontinued and you can't buy it unless you want to pay an arm and a leg on eBay. But the ADP Ood is available to purchase so I'm wondering if you could tell me how close it is to the oud intense
Essenza and colonia oud are summer time masterpieces ..leather is a very good and intensa is fairly nice ..club is fantastic as a sporty dumb reach but with that adp finesse
My favorite is Colonia Oud! I heard such awesome things about Essenza and I love Neroli so I blind bought the big boy, 6oz. The 1st 10 seconds I love that citrus and Neroli but then on my skin the rose mixes in and it goes wrong for me. A soapy smell I don't like, DOH! Always sample if you can lol. I should have kept it safe and got Bergamotto di Calabria.

When looking at their site I can't find Colonia Intensa Oud on there. It's just Colonia Oud. And on Sephora's site the details say "A new interpretation of Colonia Intensa, Colonia Oud combines the unique freshness of Colonia Intensa with one of the world’s most cherished ingredients, Oud, for an unforgettable fragrance that is both fresh and richly aromatic. " Has Colonia Intensa Oud been discontinued and now it's just ACQUA DI PARMA Colonia Oud

I prefer the smell of Acqua di Parma (I have essenza) over any other formal fragrances. Easily take down Bleu di Chanel, Sauvage, Gio Profumo by the way of class it smells however sad... the performance... Now a days I only look for good smells among the beast modes, no beast mode, no look....
So true man, if a fragrance doesnt perform at least decent (6h for me) it wont get any attention from me. I just dont see putting on a fragrance that wont be noticable after 4 hours
