Once celebrated actors like Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Jim Carrey, Jodie Foster, Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, Johnny Depp, John Travolta, Mike Myers, and Cameron Diaz have suffered serious blows to their career which are quickly going downhill. Which actor tops our list? And can any of them regain their momentum?

I always think.. the best actor who did the right was Tom Hanks .. in he’s first part of he’s career.. he played comedy.. then later drama.. and didn’t play in stupid comedies or action movies.. I not sure.. but just look he has chosen a clever career part instead of burning out.. like many sadly do in that business..!

I couldn't agree more... He's the most hateful actor on my list--why the hell am I even calling the guy an actor--he's the "guy" I hate most. Sad part is, I used to watch some of his movies as a kid, which were "so-so" but today I see where it fails and falls in term of what he thinks is "humour".

Sheesh, again with the Jack Sparrow routine.....It's like he's found one role, ONE character he really, really likes and he's decided do so in every comedic movie for the rest of his life! (Lone Ranger = Oh look, Jack Sparrow's an Indian! Dark Shadows = Vampire Jack Sparrow, Mordecai= Jack Sparrow impersonating James Bond...ish) He should give it a rest, in a dead man's chest! ;)

Actually most of these actors just don't have range or is old. For example Robert De Niro doesn't have range, he's the same character all the time/ his acting is always the same. John Travolta is just old tbh...

it was really not inline with the first two movies and their quality. Looking back the first Austin Powers was a more adult film and then by the third movie jokes were dumbed down for 13 year olds. And it became way to "serious" with all the family connections and crap.

Adam Sandler did not lose his mojo. He began his career making films that intended to appeal to adolescents. Those adolescents who were fans of Sandler simply grew up and moved on from his cinematic flavor. Think about it, if you were 12, you would love his newer movies.

Though I despise his involvement with Jack and Jill as much as the next guy, Pacino wouldn't be on this list if his HBO projects weren't overlooked. He's given solid performances in those and won two Emmys. De Niro WAS losing his mojo at one point but has been a bit better since Silver Lining's Playbook, a movie that he was an Oscar nominee for.

Freddie Mercury I know this comment is late but I know absolutely that De Niro and Pacino are fantastic actors, best in the business but De Niro since the early 00s has made 2 decent movies, Stardust and Silver Linings Playbook out of 40 terrible movies, he hasn't made a great movie since Analyze This, Pacino has not made a good movie since Insomnia which was a fantastic film. It is really sad how Gigli, 88 minutes and Jack and Jill ruined his career and Analyze that, Little Fockers and Dirty Grandpa ruined De Niro's career. So I do think they have lost their mojo in a way but they have so many great movies on their resume that a part of me just thinks it doesn't matter. Their primes were in the 70s, 80s(Al Pacino in the Late 80s), 90s and 00s. But I think The Irishman could make this video outdated. But I don't think it is cruel, at this point in their careers it is true.

It is not "cruel" for an entertainment channel to reflect popular opinion in compilation lists. These actors are many people's favourites, I assume this includes the Watch Mojo staff. That doesn't change the fact their roles have generally declined in quality. It's notable in comparison to their earlier work, as well as reviews of the roles and films. They never said anything personal against Adam Sandler or anyone else in the video lol. Stop being a triggered fan. I'm a fan of some of those mentioned, too, but agree with the video. They haven't necessarily lost their talent, entirely, the video never said that, but they *do* need better roles where they can show it, at least. They said this with De Niro & The Irishman. Perhaps you weren't paying attention to that part... 🙄
