Kelly MacDonald’s accent in No Country For Old Men was flat-out amazing. Tom Holland’s American accents are spot on in everything I’ve seen him in, down to the Yeahs and Uhms.

Hugh Laurie, Tom Hardy, Ewan McGregor and I thought Renee Zellwegger was British for the longest time because I love Bridget Jones. Oh and the Nicole Kidman movie was Cold Mountain (Zellwegger won an Oscar for that one).

Kate Winslet is who you're thinking of, in Mare of Easttown. Not only did she nail the accent, but she did a very specific American accent (Delaware Valley) that's very hard for most Americans to do, unless they're from Pennsylvania or Maryland. Incredible work on her part!

Alan Tudyk is amazing at accents and voices. Should be on the list. Daniel Davis, who played Niles on the Nanny. I was shocked when I realized he was from Arkansas Also, Ryan Kwanten, who is Jason Stackhouse on True Blood, is Australian, and pulls off a great American Southern accent

One of my favorites is Kelly McDonald as Carla Jean Moss in No Country for Old Men. She's Scottish, but she sounded just like someone who grew up in Texas. It's excusable not to know that Charlie Chaplin was English. Most of his films were silent, so most people never heard his voice.

Peter Dinklage is not a brit, but has a great british accent in Game Of Thrones, Jonny Lee Miller was the only one of the main cast of Trainspotting that wasn't scottish, but he fooled everybody, and of course Seth MacFarlane Ted boston accent, Stewie Griffin british

Mare of Easttown is the show Daz is thinking about, and takes place in Pennsylvania. Kate Winslet seems to make mostly American films; incredible actress. You’d be surprised by how many British actors are working in American tv w/ American accents. Opportunities are better here.

Charlie Hunnam has played so many American parts now that I'm not sure he still has a British accent but he started out doing a great job as a California biker ("Sons of Anarchy").

@@BTinSF Then you just don’t have an ear for it, I guess. And I don’t mean offense by that. But his English accent comes through quite a bit. It’s passable, and I liked his performance, but it’s known that accents are not his thing. He got destroyed for his southern English (cockney) accent in Green Street Hooligans. It’s awful. He’s from Newcastle.

Other than the South African one, Dicaprio's accents were pretty weak as well. He kept them to the minimum to avoid highlighting how bad they were.
