Victorious is a teen sitcom. The Breakfast Club is a teen film which has remained popular with teens since it was made until today. A high proportion of Victorious viewers would have already seen The Breakfast Club & enjoyed the parody. Younger viewers who hadn't seen the film wouldn't get the jokes.
lol when I first watched it, I had literally no idea what was going on. It wasn't until after I watched the Breakfast Club as a teenager that I finally put the pieces together 😂😂
The Breakfast Club was made in the 80s so teenagers watching Victorious wouldn’t even have been born when the Breakfast Club came out so I doubt that a high proportion of them have even see the Breakfast Club. The only teens that would have seen the Breakfast Club at that time were the ones who watched it with their parents
Every time I see a dirty Victorious jokes video, nobody mentions the scene where Cat says that she would “do anything“ to use her phone. A lot of these jokes are not appropriate for a kid’s and are there because Dan Schneider wanted to sexualize the actors. Aka making creepy feet “jokes”. And that’s just one example. Disgusting.

Thought of it in both ways! I remember watching it and immediately thinking they are either talking about getting high or being a virgin. I do know that there are some dirty jokes in there, because pretty much any show like Victorious will have hidden jokes, but some of the jokes she listed weren’t even dirty, it’s just she kept overthinking it to make it seem dirty. Not everything in this world is going to be inappropriate, people just like to say that something has a “deeper meaning” to get views so that people overthink it themselves. Or also when Robbie asks Gabriella out to the Cow Wow and Cat is hiding from him when Robbie pops out of the curtains. Like cat got too scared in that scene.
Or that one where Robbie helps Tori with her stage effects and he used cardboard cutouts of Cat that he just happened to have in his home. And when Cat jumps in and looks terrified and jumps away.
