Good listing, however Exodus is an Omega level mutant. Gambit also has the potential to be an omega level mutant. You can possibly add Synch to this list because he has the ability to understand and use the powers he absorb better than the actual users and he have several hundred years of honing his skill from being trapped in the Vault.
A full powered Gambit is beyond omega level. His alternate universe counterpart who has his full powers literally accidentally blew up the planet by mistake. He also beat that universe Jean Grey who had the Phoenix force and the main Gambit beat him and is canonically even more powerful. The only reason he doesn't have his full powers because he got them taken away on purpose not to hurt anyone. List of powers: Kinetic kinesis aka telekinesis Full control of kinetic energy and energy period. Has super strength, speed agility, flight energy blasts in other words does what MCU Ms. Marvel does ironically. Telepathic and touch based power protection, healing factor, time control, temperature control and more. Gambit is a beast.
@@SpectralSound. Facts. He had Sinister take a part of his brain so he couldn't use his full powers. Also he controls mainly kinetic energy so he can literally make you stop go also can use the flow of time energy so literally can control time. Also without being limited doesn't need to touch something to charge it. All he needs is to see it and can also charge organic matter now so he just needs to look at something and can make people or things explode. Also has fine tuning so he can charge it like a timer to explode when he wants also how powerful he wants the explosion from very weak to unbelievably powerful. Lastly again as much of a beast evil Gambit New Son from another dimension was he admits before dying that main universe Gambit is a lot stronger than him which is crazy. He went on a dimensional killing spree of himself and other heroes because again he never got the part taken out of his brain and accidentally blew up his world so he started opening time and dimensional portals killing himself in other dimensions because he didn't want them do that in their worlds.
Shame they quietly retconned Rogue's powers. Sage basically opened it to it's fullest potential which granted her to access to every power she has ever absorbed. They did this in an issue of Xtreme X-Men. During the alien invasion
IMO - Firestar should be on the list. REALY she should be considered an Omega. She controls Microwave energy In the "New Warriors" she was stated she could blow up a planet. She did injure a Gigantic Nova Squad member relatively easily. She was in space, so she didnt have to HOLD BACK
You know you can tell when people aren't really comic readers they are literally getting info from online. The inconsistent info and outdated info in this video is crazy
Isn’t it a contradiction to say “they can do it if they want to ?” And call them alphas if they can beat omegas ? They have to be omegas to beat omegas
What about new son gambit he literally killed his universe of dark Phoenix and blew up plsnets by touching it . Plus his ability of entrapped which he should hsf kept
I remember a Gambit comic (not xmen, but just Gambit) that in some sewer he charged a human, specifically their jaw. Might not have been canon, but it's not like it was never written and never happened in comic history.
The Shaw from the First Class movie is actually the strongest version of Shaw since his absorption of Energy isn’t limited to just Kinetic, he can use the Energy outside of his body, and he uses his Energy for both slowed Aging and a Regenerative Healing Factor. He goes from a low level Alpha Mutant to a high level Alpha though he’s not quite Omega level…
Nice video. I really have to agree with Rogue, but if you look at the version from X-Men Evolution, she'd really be bordering that line, since she seems to grow stronger when in stressful situations. Lorna I absolutely love, but you forgot she was stripped of her powers, and gained the ability to grow kind of like Stature in the Young Avengers, just as her own powers. I actually would have put Regan Wyngarde aka Lady Mastermind on the list, since out of all Mastermind's kids, Regan by far is the most dangerous, since her illusions are illusions, which means she's making you essentially believe your actually experiencing the illusion. This is shown when she trapped Heather Cameron aka Lifeguard in an illusion, where Heather saw and felt herself being stabbed. Can we say a more dangerous female version of Itachi Uchiha.
Lady Mastermind is good, but got her ass stumped by a depowered Mirage. Also, Lady Mastermind is the Second best illusionist of the Wyngarde family, but her sister Martinique Jason eclipsed her by becoming a full-blown telepath. 1. Martinique Jason (Mastermind ²) 2. Lady Mastermind 3. Mastermind 4. Pixie (can outrank the entire family if she can full integrate mutant magic into her "pixie dust" like Storm with her weather abilities and Revelation (Apocalypse) with his molecular manipulation abilities.
I did not know those two bits of info, so thanks. The other reason I said she was the more dangerous one is because she's a bit on the wild side. Doesn't help Regan and Martinique hate one another with passion at times.@@JT-fq2bl
@@tankeater All that energy LOLing for a random (imaginary) comic book commentary. 😆😂🤣 Sorry bro, I could not help myself. Your fluency in loser is incredible. … For the record there is basically two ways for an Omega to lose. 1. Off/ compromised , 2. lame.
Firstly, Exodus and Iceman are OMEGAS. Secondly, how tf is Emma Frost missing from this list when she's been confirmed to be able to go toe to toe with Legion and stalemated Exodus telepathically while cutting off his access to his Omega Level Telekinesis?? The only person Emma has EVER lost a psychic battle against is Jean Grey, the Omega Level Telepath.
Emma is not an alpha, she's been classified as an Omega since the Whedon era. And Emma has never fought 616 Jean Grey, the incident in the Morrisson era wasn't a fight, Jean didn't try to hurt Emma and Emma didn't take Jean's fit of jealousy seriously until Jean ended up triggering Emma's trauma, which prompted Emma to kick her out of her mind. The real fights were Emma vs Phoenix/Clone Jean which ended in a stalemate and a powerless Emma vs Xorn Jean which had obvious results. Stop spreading misinformation, Jean and Emma would never fight each other.
@@rbmaia5 Unfortunately, Hickman's run in 2019 retconned the Omega statuses of Emma Frost, Rachel Grey, Nate Grey, and Charles Xavier. So Jean is the Omega now, while all of those I mentioned are either Alphas or just gone entirely. With that said, Emma and Xavier are now considered Alphas with so much finesse/skill that they can go toe to toe with Omegas. You are right that Jean an Emma in Morrison's run wasn't a fight, but I was referring to the original Emma vs Phoenix fight in the 80s. They were both fighting, and Emma put all of her psychic energy into one psi-blast, which harmed the Phoenix Force itself and took down the ENTIRE building with a purely telepathic blast. The building collapsed on both of them. Phoenix used her telekinesis to protect herself so she wasn't too badly harmed. Emma ended up in a coma. Nothing I've said here is misinformation and I say all of this as a massive Emma fan (she's literally my favourite character)
I liked characters better when they had one, easily-defined, and thematic powerset. Now writers just add complete nonsense to them that has nothing to do with the theme of their powers and completely strips them of what makes them unique and interesting.
Any level mutant can defeat any level mutant they face...it's based on writers favorites. None of these people or powers are real and can gain and lose weaknesses based on the writer. 😅🤷♂️
