Top 10 Base Skins In Top War 

For sure. Lots of people make fun of me for focusing on gathering but I never have resource issues, I have high suppressions, and ones in done with food and oil upgrades I have great gathering to pull in tons of odinium. It's always useful

I wish they would give f2p players a 1*1 base with stats. When people got that golden pavilion during the paint event a lot of alliances were bigger then their territory. And researching territory expansion takes forever

I would place the mountain skin in front of the Shadow dragon but behind the VN1 4Runner. The Shadow dragon isn't a very good skin to equip and it's skill bonuses only 3 minutes every 12 hours. The VN1 4Runner has some unique abilities that you can't really get anywhere else so I would place that ahead of the mountain but the mountain has a very solid equipping bonus that is better than most of the branch specific base skins

What kind of questions did you have about it? I don't think I could do a full video about it since the only thing is you activate the skill, you see the square pop up and your allies can teleport into it, and if you're hit three times and teleported out it cancels the effect.

It seems so anti climactic to have it as number one but I can't think of anything better. Anything that speeds up growth is King in this game

Those are all fair reasons and I do personally like the skin. However I would not rank it on this list. A lot of the things you mentioned for example supply isn't a big event late game and some of the rules that your server has about first come first serve really isn't an issue late game at least on my server. And as far as march speed goes forerunner had double that

It's a tough call. However I will say I've noticed a lot more people going/switching to air Force now that they have good heros. Also your suppressions for other branches can help you in a pinch. Especially when you get base hit. At least 1 of your branches had the advantage no matter what. Plus once you're done with suppressions you can gather odinium and maintain a March of Valhalla units easier

I'll likely be doing a video on the class change that is supposed to be happening on Wednesday. Unfortunately my server will not be getting the class change so the information I can give will be limited

It's also great for warzone and sandtable that forces you to use multiple units or you have for example Navy attacking and army defending. But the only other skin I would say that's universal that's better for offense but only offence is the labyrinth in it's temple of glory form for a total of 40% atk increase when attacking

With the new training camp event I think its possible to get another skin for free so I was going to go for super miner. I have Atlantis currently but I'm a navy main

For the capacity alone I don't think it's worth it I'd rather put that money towards a decor pack which would be cheaper and offer more benefits

The phantom ship and the conqueror I believe are the only decent Navy skins that I can remember off hand in that box. And I would still recommend the super Miner over them. Especially since your suppressions are only a level 62

I avoided skins that were branch specific I wanted to focus on the things that were best for everyone. I really do like the crystal cabin I've already got it. As for events that allow you to get specific skins. It's mostly random at this point every now and again there's an event they throw random skins in it. So if you want a specific skin that isn't available for purchase at all times. You'll just have to wait and hope you get lucky. Or that it gets put into the decor redemption event that happens once a month where you're able to purchase a box that gives you a choice of base skins but most of those are old base skins

Now working on 250 more vouchers to upgrade to Crystal cabin. Quick question. When you do the stage quest again, how do you maximize the number of vouchers you can get, do you do exact answers as you did before or have to avoid chosing "correct answers"? As i guess 1st time reward won't be available

The correct answers still give tickets (most of them) you just won't get the other goodies that come with it. So yes keep doing the correct answers

You know what's funny is I think it's actually possible for a GM to gather better than an LC. A third hero to perk and equip skills too. I'm the fastest gather in my server buy a wide margin

It's a bit tough to say since the equip bonuses are so close together it makes very little difference. For example shadow dragon with 35% atk increase vs some of the specially skins that do 40% is such a small difference you likely won't notice. Especially late game where 1000%+ atk is common. This is why I put more weight into skills and holding in stock bonuses. But as far as what's best for combat it usually depends on what kinda combat your doing. Attacking, defending protective, defending base, warzone, PvE, ect

I like the vit more. I stockpile it for events like baking or EL top 20. Acadia is only 30 min. Plus the vit is for you and another person. Whoever you cast it on

You have to equip the poetic scan to get that plus five march size. You can send March with that basic whipped and then switch to a different combat skin so you can get the effect of both essentially. However I still think the Shadow dragon is better. But you definitely could get the poetic skin and then switch to the mountain skin so you get the damaging increase while also having the march size increase because your March size can't change mid March

Since the vit is an item form I would disagree about dropping those skins because many of us save this vit for eternal lands. Yes everyday vet isn't all that helpful to level 80s but if you can hold on to it in item form and you said during an event it is invaluable. I wouldn't want to give special note to any base that gives a plus one March size when equipped because no matter what you can only have one equipped. This is why I gave more weight to the holding in stock bonuses. I also didn't base any of the ranks on how hard they are to get. So I would still say pop star is very important since it's possible to get a permanent. And a plus 10 to your mark size does not increase your gathering speed to your mark size does not increase your gathering speed. While it will increase your gather load that's not a hard stat to get up and is rarely an issue.

While I may be happy I have a bunch of bay skins I promise you there was regret in those words 😂

Forerunner is a better deal because of the repair capacity and its defensive transformation

Aside from continuing to gather transfer tickets from the alliance store which needs to be your priority. If they are cutting you out of everything and attacking you on non-KE days this would be my recommendation. As much as you can take out the resource tiles, Make them fight for the ruins every time they come up for war even if you can't take them make them work for it, if you have all accounts you can also set them outside their base and whenever one of their people gets zeroed you can have a low level account hit the empty base twice to port them forcing them to buy more ports, attacking them just before SVS as well as war of identium if you can figure out what time they're doing it will also make them feel it. The point of these strategies is not to beat them but to make them realize that they can be hurt. You need to make it very clear that the reason you're doing this is because they are attacking you unfairly. And that you will stop if they just leave you alone. If you cut into their rewards they're going to want it to stop and they may burn you but these strategies are something that you can fairly easily keep up and they will be very upset. If they are already attacking you you have nothing to lose but they have plenty

The only other thing I will add is even though you're being kept out of all the stuff and being attacked it is still possible for you to grow slower. If you do some of the methods that I mentioned they are likely to also do those methods. So if you're close to transferring I would recommend keeping your head low. But if you really want to go for it be ready to not own ruins, not be able to gather resources, etc. Best of luck to you guys I hope you get a merge with a server that will overthrow them

Unfortunately that wouldn't work. The plus two unit ticket gives you plus two of the highest unit you're able to build not merge.

You are too close to another object on the map and the base you are trying to equip would overlap with it so it won't let you. You need to either remove the object kill or harvest. Or you need to port to a more open location. Tap on an empty location on the map and it will pop up the option to teleport there

Super miner for sure

Super miner will give you the best return. Plus phantom ship only works well on attack and the decor you get out of it isn't anything special

@@WGtopwar with new class update, even without super miner, with 3h, I can get decent gathering speed. So, I am planning to get either phantom or dragon from the piedmont event. I am a navy guy. Thoughts? I keep the 15 days super miner skin just to use on EL.

The dragon skin is better than the phantom skin. The decor the phantom give for its active effect is mediocre and takes a very long time to actually level up. Plus it's a tack bonus only works on attack. Even if you have a good gather speed I would still recommend the super Miner. For example the last level of suppressions cost 400 million resources. But if you don't want to go to that route the Shadow dragon would be the next choice. By the way you don't have to save the super minor for eternal lands. It doesn't increase the amount of points or amethyst that you get unfortunately. You get a base rate depending on the minutes that you gather. And with how busy we always are during eternal lands especially when fighting you may not get the full use of that super miner skin. And regardless of what your gathering speed is that 50% bonus is going to give you the same amount of resources so you don't get anything extra from eternal lands by using it there

It should be in the decor redemption event that I believe is starting Friday I believe. Outside of that you just have to hope it shows up in an event. They are pretty old so it's likely not to show up in any other event other than decor redemption. At least in my experience

Other than possibly the eternal land skins which of course two of them only work during SVS events. The mountain academy-based skin I think is the best one for combat Even though it's not Navy specific. Unfortunately I've only seen this base skin available once so I don't know if it will come again. I can't speak to every new skin I'd have to sit down, look and think about it.

Either the phantom ship for the 40% attack but only on offense and the 10 dock capacity or the Shadow dragon for its activatable buff as well as a 35% attack boost that always works

Shadow dragon would definitely be better. You can get the same attack increased for equipping it except it applies to all units. And it's active effect can be very helpful for many PVE scenarios

I would still recommend the super miner. The gold production will help you with level 80 general perks, 3 hero costs 60 mil food/oil, 5th skill costs 80 mil food/oil, not to mention all the other skills before and after. Also suppressions are crazy expensive at level 78 each level costs 10 mil more then the last until level 95 costing over 200 million. There are better holding in stock bases. But for long term growth you can't beat super miner

Most of the whales one of the things that makes a big difference between them is whether or not they have all the base skins. I can't imagine competing at that level of spending

I think ark would be best because we don't know if or when we can get it again. The other skins you can get almost any time The VN1 only gives you the defense boost when you're defending your base

I don't think I understand you question. But the super miner increases you "base" gather speed increase. This can be found by clicking your profile picture then stats. This gathering speed stat affects all marches. This is your gathering speed before any hero skills or hero perks

While I haven't been able to test this myself I've been told by many sources that the gems you get from level 6 resources are entirely based on how much time you spend in there. In other words if you spend longer in there you get more gems it's not based on your gathering speed at least from what I've been told. Which means you want your gathering speed as low as possible to gather on level 6 resources IF Your priority is those gems. Again I haven't been able to personally test this but I have heard it from quite a few sources so I find it somewhat credible

Neotopia was definitely a strong contender to be on this list It is a fantastic skin. And that recovery will make a big difference over time giving your rewards. So if it's in your budget I would recommend getting it. However something that might help. I'm not sure if you've noticed I don't know how long you've been playing since you're new. A decor set is released every month sometimes it's an old one sometimes it's a new one. But so far with every decor set the first thing you can buy out of there is for only five US dollars. And he gives you 5% vit recovery. So for $20 you can get the same amount of it recovery that neutopia gives you. And generally that skin is going to cost $200 with some exceptions for special events. Such as transformers where you have that base skin choice box that you can potentially get for less than 200

If you go into the building that looks like a treasure chest I think it's called the magic chest in there you can see a button in the top right called the decor bundles and you can see all of them and their bonuses. You can only purchase them in order and it costs 5, 20, 50, $100 in that order to unlock everything. But the vit is always that first pack

Yes it's generally once a month a pack will come out and it will show up on your screen when you first log in so you'll know for sure that it's there. You don't purchase them out of there you can just see what all of them are

The mushroom skin definitely has its place but I think only big whales are going to get good use out of it. For mid players like myself I don't get enough use out of it to justify it. But I do like collecting my base skins For your Navy I would go aka, yuu, bail. However 914 I believe is highly underrated because he can take out an entire stack before they can attack with his burn but he's inconsistent since it is chance-based. If you wanted to use him I would exchange bail for him in your March. But one of the reasons I never worked on him is I don't like having a hero that can't do both offense and def. As for army I would go Katy, prey, prime. The new hero Piedmont while I think he's a solid hero is not as game-breaking as other hero releases and I can't really see him replacing anybody else. But I would still recommend testing just to see if he's better than expected.

@@WGtopwar I keep watching your RU-vids and upgrading…haha..I actually dismantled the level 6 skills of 914 , but during the last SVS war, the biggest player shoichi (1381server) attacked me with a 914 balios, preycis combo against my preycis, optimus, piedmont…though I won, it took three rounds, and 160 Valhalla boats were damaged.

914 always smokes me I have such a hard time with him because there's not much you can do against that burn. I don't build any Valhalla units anymore. I'm focused very hard on my gather speed and I'm hoping to finish all my suppressions and class. Once I'm finished with those I can use all my gatherers to do nothing but gather odinium. Then I won't have to worry or stress about the cost of the Valhalla units quite as much. Having Valhalla units always makes me play much safer and as a result I Don't contribute as much as I could during team events like SVS

@@WGtopwar may be i should consider this strategy too...my average gathering speed of my 4 teams are between 500 to 650k at my alliance members farms. my suppression is stuck at 80.. btw, the customer service was quit nice, i asked them whether they could return my 914 level 6 skills, and they sent it back to me. now i will ask them about the 1m tech chest...what we should do with them!

My gathering is between 600 k and 985k. Suppressions take a long freaking time. But I did get my Navy to level 100. My army and Air Force are in the high 70s. I was upgrading them non-stop but I'm finally starting to run into a resource wall. Yeah they're usually pretty good about giving you stuff back if you accidentally delete it but if you say you accidentally bought something with real money there's no hope lol. And I'm wondering if they'll ever do anything about the tag chests I'm sitting on over 4 million

I don't believe any of the new base skins are in the choice box yet. So the VN1 still holds its place on this list.

The only reason that notification should be popping up is if you're next to something. The dark Force a Warhammer resources and other player.

The holding in stock bonus for the tropical city isn't significantly different than many other of the newer base skins. So that doesn't earn it many points there. Also the fact that it only applies to Navy is one of the reasons that I valued it lower than other base skins. I'm also a Navy man and I rarely use this base skin and combat. Having a base skin that only affects my Navy greatly reduces the capabilities of my other branches for example if I wanted to send out a second March I can send out my Air Force March or if I wanted my army to have good buffs for defending. Well I think it's good to hyper focus into one branch unless you're the biggest of whales there is still something to be said for being a well-rounded player. Hence my value for well-rounded base skins

I love the idea of it. But I can never seem to find a good enough use for it

BlueStacks has worked for me very well however you have to make sure that you get the 64-bit and not the 34-bit version. The 34-bit version lags horribly.

I would go with the VN1 4Runner or maybe Acadia. Depending on what you want to prioritize. Personally I would go VN1

Acadia Will only help you for 30 minutes a day but it will help you on both attack and defense as well as having some utility for some PVE events. The VN1 4Runner is mostly only going to help you on defense because of its transformability that gives 30% damage decrease while equipped

Buy it from the base skin list or play/spend on events with base skin choice chests. Superminer is almost always in there as an option

With exceedingly few exceptions you'll have to pay real money. Unfortunately the exceptions are when top war is feeling generous or you get unrealistically lucky.

Absolutely, the super miner might not be as flashy as some of those other base skins. But it is by far the most important

click your profile picture and there is a list of base skins you can turn into. You dont "place" a base skin you turn your existing base into it

Money and/or special events that come but. You might be able to get it cheaper during events but chances are you'll still have to pay. I believe it's one of them base skins that can be purchased at any time from the base skin list also

I believe when you go from little base to big base. It makes your current small base the bottom corner. So if there is something to the top left/right out directly above it thinks there isn't enough room

It is. Great skin. But since it only works on offense and only for Navy I left it off the list

You can hope and pray it's in the gotcha event and have a large amount of gems at the time 40-50k. Unfortunately base skins are very few and far between for f2p

It does not fall anywhere on this list. While it does have decent stats it is only for army and there are other base skins that do offer comparable bonuses while also having a better holding in stock bonus with something like a damaged decrease or increase. Not to mention the nemesis base skin skill is purely cosmetic

@@WGtopwar only 8% dmg increase applies to army, so the other atk and hp 25% each are discounted outright? Plus the 10% each for in stock? The VN-1 is even more army oriented but it's still on the list and March speed isn't gonna help you survive or atk more, and 30% buff to bubble duration? Literally who cares about a 5 hour and 12 minute shield rather than 4? shadow dragon is also even more army oriented... you get 35% all unit atk, army hp +10. In stock army atk +10, all unit hp +10 +1 March size. +skill I get that the skill is dumb and cosmetic but surely 35 total percent atk and hp to all units, all the time, isn't completely overlook able

I believe I mentioned this in the video. But I put more weight on holding in stock bonuses and skills then equipping. VN1 offers hospital space which is found in very few places. But even for equipping you get great all unit DMG decrease for defence. It was the go to base skin for a lot of people in SVS got a long time. Shadow dragon passive March increase is always a big plus and it's skill is useful in many different events. Also especially late game where you're over 1000% atk and hp. Damage is calculated after atk and hp increases. So damage has greater effects as you get later on the game while atk and hp still helps it's not as noticable late game. I focused on what helps people long term/late game (like super miner), stackable bonuses (like holding in stock), and skills/utility. You can only have one base equipped so that was pretty much lowest on my list to rank things. Plus no matter how good an equipping bonus is there is going to be a skin that gets released that will be better.

@@WGtopwar i'm trying my best my Navy is my main force lvl 10 hrof, weapons buff and armor buff and lvl 9 dmg increase & decrease, just started on Army comps nearly lvl 9 hrof already, for me it's not a race i'm building my account up at my own speed my navy has 2 purple items cruise missiles and pulse compression radar and i've almost done my heavy fuel oil generator so things are shaping up nicely our server only came into being mid January and yes it's my first server

It's nowhere near this list because to get its proper boost you need to zero bases. And I know it's easy to do by attacking low levels or having some farms sitting around but I still don't like the requirement for it and the upkeep necessary to keep that bonus active. The difference between a 40% attack increase and a 35% attack increase given by Shadow dragon is a negligible difference especially once you get higher into the game and you start dealing with people who have a thousand plus percent attack

I'm a huge fan of the phantom ship. What made me not put it on here was the decor is only for Navy, it's attack boost is only on offense, and while I love anything that lets me hold ships. I valued combat stats over unit storage. And it's holding in stock combat stats are standard. Again I love that skin and use it frequently. But the lack of universality and offense only play style kept it off my list
