way too many great and iconic solos to choose from tbh to the point that my top 10 changes depending on my mood. my favorites from some albums: Waking the fallen: second heartbeat City of evil: bat country, seize the day, wicked end Self-titled: afterlife, lost Nightmare: Nightmare, buried alive, so far away, victim, save me Hail to the king: hail to the king, shepherd of fire, this means war, crimson day, coming home, heretic The stage: the stage, paradigm LIBAD: cosmic, nobody

Scream and Dancing Dead are tied as my favorite solos. Scream's comes out of the gate swinging and swaps to that really cool sounding dual bit, and the buildup to and evolution of Dancing Dead's solo makes it feel so unique compared to a lot of other Avenged solos imo.

Syn and Zack always come up with some absolutely banger riffs, and I know this is probably gonna sound predictable but the riffs from Afterlife, Bat Country, Beast and the Harlot, Nightmare, Hail to the King, A Little Piece of Heaven, This Means War and The Stage will always fucking slap. On a similar note though, how about one of these for Ghost songs because they definitely have some nice riffs as well

I honestly think my favorite solo is from Seize The Day. I really like the solo in Warmness on The Soul too but not sure if that counts, its a piano ballad.
